Something's Gotta Give

What should I get my boyfriend for Christmas? He is a 25 year old music producer. He is also a singer/songwriter and he plays guitar. On the other hand, he’s a total nerd. He likes video games and other nerdy things… So far, I have gotten him a Stargate Atlantis Box set. But what else can I get him? I’m horrible at shopping for others..

Also, we have been dating for two years, if that matters. And I have a bit of a budget. Maybe 200 dollars at the most.
All such good ideas.. But just saying, baking or cooking or anything home made won’t work. I’ve done the calendars and the coupon books and stuff, and in the relationship, he’s the cook. I have no clue how to bake or anything, so yeah.

Try buying him something from a game or series he likes. Or try to ask him in a subtle way? Maybe go to the store and see what he would like or spends a lot of time looking at. If you really don’t care about him knowing though, you could always ask him straight up. If you really can’t think of anything to get him, can’t really go wrong with a game.
