what should I do at Thansgiving? family not getting along..?
Ok here’s the run down, My uncle yelled at my 9 year old brother for hitting me a few months ago (but I hit him first and my uncle has really bad anger issues.) He never said sorry or anything so my mom and dad don’t talk to them.
Well Saturday my grandma wanted me and my brother to come down and eat pizza (she lives next store) we did because I didn’t know my uncle was bringing the pizza. my dad said he was coming but never did so my 7 year old brat of a cousin brought up Santa. My aunt said not to say anything under her breath so I did because well I hate her. She got mad and said you shouldn’t say anything to logan because he still believes! in a nasty tone right in front of my brother (who still believed until she said that) then my aunt went in the computer room where my brother was and told him the same thing.
I came home and told my dad what happened and he yelled at me. (my aunt had to bring us home because my dad never showed) he got mad at that and cuz I text my mom and told her. She has a right to know. (she hates them to)
The next day my grandma can to my house, wasn’t here 5 minutes before she started yelling at my saying I lied about my aunt yelling at me (when in fact I NEVER said she yelled)
At that point I told my grandma to get the hell outta my house with my dad standing here but I didn’t care at that moment. Btw i’m 14
So Thanksgiving is coming up and I have to go. What should I say to them/act?

and when i said that santa isnt real its an OPINION they can’t do anything!

Fake sick. It’s what I used to do, until my family started getting into fist fights and we had to quit having holidays together.

You should all get together and at least TRY to get along, it’s a special day.
If you really, really, cannot get along with any of your family, celebrate with your friends families, if possible. It’s never fun to celebrate with nobody.
If someone insults I would say "Please try to be polite, this is a special day."
