how do I know if my brakes on my car are stuck on, on one side….?
its been cold of late and my car hasn’t moved for a week. I drove it this morning and it makes a noise on one side with a slight smell of burning…i’ve been told my brakes could be stuck on, how can I tell….?

Apart from the smell, the offending wheel after driving a short way will get hot and smoke, try rocking backwards and forward if you hear a bang it has freed.

its obvious your driving it now so if they are stuck on one side, your car will pull to that side now. i recomend having them looked at. afterall yours and others safety is at hand! and if nuthin wrong is found, you know 100% you have good brakes where as when you wrote this, you werent!
