Can girls wear underwear under their track shorts?
Ok. So I’m having my first track meet March 1st. Can I wear my underwear under my track shorts? I also have short compression shorts, a.k.a Booty shorts, that i wore last year for a dance competition. Can i wear both? I DON’T wanna go commando. I’m 13, so its KINDA awkward… help asap!

XOXO-
Kennedy!

you can wear whatever you like and anyone who say otherwise is a pervert.
waisonline | Feb 02, 2010

HAHAH…im 13 too! i needed help with the same question! but i totally agree with you kennedy!
Mal27 | Feb 02, 2010

Compression shorts are underwear and shorts lol
You can wear underwear underneath and it’s no problem
the only reason people don’t is because of a comfort thing and unless you have a pair in white no one is going to see anything.
Peter | Feb 02, 2010

my track shorts arent like that but i know what your talkin about and u can def wear the compression shorts under the track shorts i wouldnt wanna go commando either i do the same thing with my wrestling singlet and the bottoms fit the same
Kelley | Feb 02, 2010

doesn’t your team have a uniform? dance shorts are "normally" made of different material than the track shorts, which are made of polyster (spandex) but that’s irrelevant. haha :)

anyway.. you have 4 choices
- no underwear (it’s seriously comfortable after the 1st time)
- thong (but i don’t like them because they feel awkward for me. lots of girls wear thongs, though. and commando)
- regular underwear
- regular underwear with thin side strings. because it’s REALLY noticible when you wear your underwear if you don’t have the thin strings. unless you don’t mind :) especially if your shorts aren’t pure black or dark blue, it’ll be even more noticible
Princess Lola | Feb 02, 2010

I’m older than you ladies but I like to wear compression shorts as underwear. I wear them under my running shorts. I like the extra coverage and it takes care of the dreaded wedgie factor that you sometimes get from sweaty underwear! I started doing this in 2003 when I noticed that the South American soccer players dressed this way. It’s definitely caught on here!

Buffy: Does Anya have a soul? wasn't she human before?
if Anya was human before becoming a vengeance demon, then why is she so awkward and clueless about how to be human? and did she have a soul when she became human again and got engaged to xander? and what about when she went back to being a vengeance demon, she was no longer human, right? so how does she still have empathy and compassion and all those traits humans do? she is very much a mystery to me.

How to Clone a HardDrive to a new HardDrive?
Hello, my current 250GB hard drive is noisy, and I am running out of room. I bought a new 1TB Hard drive. I wish to exactly copy the contents of my 250GB hard drive to my 1TB hard drive.
- I don’t want to make them work together
- I don’t want to use the second one for storage space
- I don’t want to use the second one as backup
- I simply want to remove the 250GB, put in the 1TB, and for everything to remain EXACTLY the same (but the new drive will make everything faster and will have more storage capacity, obviously).

I believe this is done through a process called "cloning". Here is what I think needs to be done, please correct me if I am wrong at any point:

———————–
1. Run Norton Ghost (or similar cloning program). Clone the 250GB HardDrive. The clone "file" will remain on the 250GB hard drive.
2. Turn PC Off. Phyiscally install the new 1TB hard drive into the computer, setting it has "SLAVE".
3. Boot up the computer, windows loads as normal. (?)
4. Run Norton Ghost, use 250GB HardDrive as SOURCE, 1TB HardDrive as DESTINATION.
5. Run…. Cloning complete (does this mean that all the stuff on my 250 is now on the 1TB?)
6. Turn off computer, remove old Hard Drive, Set 1TB HardDrive as MASTER.
7. Turn on computer, load windows, everything is exactly as it was on the old 250GB, but not I have 1TB instead and its not noisy anymore.
————-

This seems pretty easy…I must be missing several parts. Some tutorials suggest you need a WINDOWSXP (or 7) boot CD, some say you need to burn something onto a DVD…

Do I need to format the 1TB HardDrive prior to doing everything? If so, how do I do this?

Do I install the new 1TB HardDrive into the computer with my 250GB remaining in it? Or do I remove the 250, install the 1TB, format the 1TB, reinstall the 250, clone source->destination, remove the 250?

Can someone please make small logical steps to take in order to simply replace the 250 with a 1TB, and for everything to remain exactly the same.

Check out Clonezilla. I’ve used it heaps for work and it’s free.

Is this Pay for Delete letter good?
This letter is in response to your call for the debt account listed above. I would like to pay off this debt in full and save our time and efforts.

I’d like to notify you that I’m not acknowledging or accepting that I owe this debt. This is because the debt hasn’t been verified yet, and I never received a bill for said debt. This letter also doesn’t imply a promise to pay the debt unless you provide a response as detailed below.

Having consulted with an attorney, I am aware of my legal rights and options against you. I am aware of the fact that your company can report the debt to the credit bureaus as you find necessary. Moreover, you have the ability to change the account status since you are the information provider.

I am willing to offer the FULL AMOUNT of $XXX as payment of the debt in full in exchange for your completion of the following:
A. Deletion of this account on any reporting agencies it resides on, including but not limited to: Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union.
B. The above mentioned action takes place no later than 10 days from receipt of agreed payment in certified funds.
C. The understanding that this debt, while not mine, was satisfied in full.
D. Agree to never discuss this account with any party and never report nor cause to be reported this account to any reporting agency including but not limited to: Experian, Equifax and Trans Union.

Certified funds shall be construed as: Money Order, Certified Check, or Cash, and shall be sent IMMEDIATELY on my receipt of your agreement to these terms.

My offer shall remain open for 10 business days from certified receipt of this letter.

If you agree to these terms and accept this agreement as laid out, then please send back your approval on your company’s letter head to the address listed above. Make sure the letter is signed by a person with the authority to accept said offer and that your letter states the terms of this offer. Your letter must be postmarked NO LATER than 10 business days from the date of certified receipt of this letter.

I look forward to hearing from you promptly about the above said matter.

seems good to me — what does your attorney say?

Spock (rhp) | May 26, 2009

Before you make this effort, is this debt for a defaulted/charged-off credit card account? If so, you need to understand that the original creditor will still report the negative on your credit report even if the collection agency agrees in writing to remove the item…meaning that you’ll still be stuck with bad credit after all the effort.

If this is non credit card debt, then I would try to abbreviate the letter. Leave off part "D." I would leave out the following sentence:

Having consulted with an attorney, I am aware of my legal rights and options against you.

Spiritually speaking, if there was a zombie apocalypse. . .?
What type of personality do you have that’ll carry you through this bleak period?

a. The Betrayer (You’re in a group of friends, you get bitten, you’re afraid to commit suicide or tell your friends the inevitable because you don’t want to get shoot in a face by your boyfriend or your mother. But you wind up getting killed anyway so why make it so difficult, huh?)

b. The Dictator (You’re a leader of the militia that fends off zombies. Once you find the survivors, you just can’t let them off your site and threatens them to death if they want to leave your little colony. . . you control freak bastard.)

c. The Selfless Sacrifice ("Go on, leave me, save yourself"! *Takes a machine gun and barricades yourself between your friend and a door being filled with zombies*)

d. The Expert/Lone Ranger (You’re like the Wolverine, a survivor, and you don’t need no nobody, cause you’re a tough guy and a small talker. Then again, you might meet. . .)

e. The Innocent Child (A pain in the a**, you have someone to carry around you as he lets you get exposed to all the gristly gore and violent events. He might wish he could just throw you into the river. But that’ll mean he’s a jacka**, and zombie films show that jacka**es are usually among the first ones to go.)

f. An Average Joe (You are just you. You dunno how you survived the initial outbreak, or how you managed to survive up to thi- OMG LOOK BEHIND YOU!)

Happy Belated Halloween!

Movies that work with this same kind of premise?
Hey! My sister and I were talking about movies earlier. The movies we were talking about were ones where the main good guy character is the only one who knows that the one guy is a real jerk. The jerk has every one fooled into thinking he is a good guy too. Aah, I’m I explaining this well? A few movies that came to mind were the Cable Guy and Mr. Woodcock. I’m sure we are missing a bunch more. What other movies are similar to it? I know I forgetting one I watched recently, and it’s driving me crazy! Thanks so much!

How to taking portrait pictures at night clubs and what equipment to use?
I want to take pictures of people in difficult light conditions in night clubs. I am new to photography and don’t really know what equipment I should use and how the settings should be.

First thing would be the lens. I picked up from the forum that I have to use a fast lens. Something like 50mm f/1.8. Is that correct?

The camera. Is the ISO the most important thing I have to pay attention to when I buy a camera? What min. would you say should the camera have? ISO1600? ISO3200?
Also, I’m not sure if the shutter time is important.

The last point is the flash. I think I need a good flash but I read some comments that due to fast lenses they use no flash…but if I use a flash its even better isn’t it?

I hope I didn’t mix everything up but I really just started and I want to this kind of professional for a web site.

Your help would be HIGHLY appreciated!!!
I think I didn’t explained right what I want to do! I’m sorry. I want to take pictures of people in night clubs.
Where should I pay attention to besides using a good flash?

if you want professional invest your money in a professional photographer, they know the answers and have the gear,

personally the idea of high iso’s, F1.8 shooting portraits in a night club sound like a night mare, to me

flash and stands and screens is the gear i would use, depends on the photographer and their abilities
???? ?????????? | Feb 04, 2010

I would take some strobes, stands, remote triggers, umbrellas, snoots, a bunch of gels, a ring flash, probably a 16-35mm f/2.8, a 50mm f/1.4, and a 70-200mm f/2.8. I would probably not shoot available light portraits in a night club, at least if someone was paying for the photos. High ISO speeds don’t excite me too much. I like to shoot at 100, and rarely go above 400 if I can help it. If you are using a flash, look at the sync speed on the cameras you are looking to buy, a faster sync speed will give you a little more flexibility.

Good luck!

Why am I so frightened by a picture?
Okay. So, around eight months ago, I saw the infamous smile.jpg picture. (For those of you who don’t know what it is, it is a picture of a VERY creepy smiling dog that supposedly drives you insane, if we are to take creepypastas as fact. You can Google it at your own risk.) It probably wasn’t even the "real" one, but it still scared me to death. Nowadays, I don’t go on any scary story sites until I’ve absolutely verified that no versions of the picture are on it. Actually, just last month, I was on a website that seemed pretty harmless (it was called something Scary for Kids), and, for some reason, I decided to click on the gallery of "scary pictures". Sure enough, under the category of "scary animals", was a version of smile.jpg. I immediately closed out of the window, shut down my computer, and walked outside. What are the reasons for this? Why do I have such an irrational fear?

It’s natural instinct. In reality, if that dog was really mean and such, and was coming after you, you’d be scared and probably run away. Well, even though it’s a picture, your brain is probably interpreting it in a similar way.
Jeff | Feb 07, 2010

HOLY SHIT that thing is fucking creepy I dont blame you for being afraid. It looks like a demon besides everyones afraid of something it’s just the way things are. Hell one person is afraid of pickels, a lady is afraid of cotton. You fear what you fear thats it.
Ruby | Feb 07, 2010

I googled it. I’ll hand it to whoever made it, the quality makes it kind of creepy. It’s not that bad though. I’ve had it where I’ve watched different animes or movie where something happened in them, and I only got scared about it later. Maybe you’ve just got a bit of a residual fright. Relax, it’ll go away eventually.
Chima | Feb 07, 2010

some one post a link to this dog picture because i cant find it to save my life lol.
BobJr's Final return | Feb 07, 2010

Because you’re supposed to be afraid of it. If you just came across the picture without the stories about people going insane, etc, I don’t think you would be nearly as afraid of it. It’s just a picture, but you’ve probably convinced yourself, subconsciously, that it’s more than that.
