Anyone know of any Barbie Show & Sell Websites?
Hello everyone,

Does anyone know of any websites (or blogs) where you can post requests for certain Barbie dolls to buy via paypal? I know of the dolly pages, but was wondering if there are others? I’m in the United States by the way.

I’d search eBay, if you’re looking for an older doll. They have a large variety. http://shop.ebay.com/limeviolet/m.html?_ nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&a mp;_trksid=p4340

What is Big Chuck Smith's Total Boxing Record (from Rocky Movies)?
Big Chuck Smith was among the suggested opponnents for Apollo Creed, in Rocky 1.
Big Chuck Smith was among Rocky’s 10 Title Defenses.
Big Chuck Smith was a possible opponnent of Ivan Drago in a post-Rocky 5 era.
Big Chuck Smith was a possible opponnent of Tommy Gunn, in Gunn’s rise in Ranks, and/or his opponnent in Gunn’s Title defenses.

I do not believe that his record was ever stated in the movies but I recall Tony Duke (Apollo Creed’s trainer) dismissing him as an opponent for Apollo in the first film saying "He’s too old and dull." I also remember him being among Rocky Balboa’s 10 title defenses in the third film, although I do not recall him being mentioned in the fourth or fifth films.

Move to California to go to USC and try to be an actress? 10 points!!?
I’m a junior in high school. I participate in the theater at my school. I currently have the lead for the Spring Musical of Guys and Dolls. I get straight A’s.

Since i was little I’ve dreamed of being in the movies and one day possibly winning an Academy Award. Though it’s something i aspire to do, I want to be realistic and have a back up plan. I was thinking about applying to University of Southern California. It’s in Los Angeles, so i figured that it would be a great place to get a good education in possibly a bachelor in Nursing and also try and pursue my dream of acting. If it doesn’t happen, then It doesn’t happen.

…I live out of state so the cost of attending would be pretty expensive.

Is it worth it to do this? Or should i just plan on moving there after college?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

USC has one of the best Acting programs in the country. They’re also a GREAT university overall.

Do you need a BFA/MFA degree to act? Nope. Will it help? maybe…

I majored in both business and music in college. The business degree was my best decision for many reasons. Because of it I have been more successful than my colleagues who have either started the same time as I did or have been doing this much longer. Thanks to my business degree, I have been able to successfully market myself, network effectively, be more professional, avoid scams, know tax loopholes/write offs, etc. It has also helped me produce multiple streams of income so I can pursue acting because I enjoy it and NOT as a source of income.

This is called show BUSINESS, not show-screwing around.

Also, I believe college is about experiencing as much as you can. Audit as many classes outside of your major and get involved with campus activities. Part of acting is living the life. Get a rich college experience so you have a good story to tell through your experiences.

My beef is with year+ institutions like AADA and BFA/MFA programs is this. I believe in being more diverse in my training. The year+ programs can sometimes be like factories where they churn out actors who are taught pretty much the same thing through a structured curriculum. What might work for one person, will NOT work for a different person.

Also, a lot of the conservatories and BFA/MFA programs have strict policies such as NOT being able to audition outside of their school or study at other places simultaneously. I think this is limiting to the actor. The actor should have the freedom to audition for outside projects and add to the current curriculum.

Diversify your training:

Playhouse West, Joanne Baron/DW Brown, and Acting Corps are more Meisner oriented. Try to audit these places and make sure if they’re for you or not.

Court Jester, The
Court Jester, The (1955)

IMDB rating: 7.70

Plot: The throne of rightful king of England, the small babe with the purple pimpernel birthmark, has been usurped by the evil King Roderick. Only the Black Fox can restore the true king to the throne—and all he needs is the king’s key to a secret tunnel. And while he’s trying to steal it, someone has to change the king’s diapers. The task falls to Hawkins, the gentlest member of the Fox’s band. The Fox’s lieutenant, Maid Jean, guards Hawkins and the babe while they travel, but when they meet the King’s new jester on the road, they decide to initiate a daring plan for Hawkins to replace him, become an intimate at the court, and steal the key. So, humble Hawkins becomes Giacomo: the king of jesters and jester to the king. But things begin to get zany when the King’s daughter falls for Giacomo, the King falls for Jean, people randomly sing what are supposed to be recognition codes, and a witch with very effective spells (and poison pellets) begins to interfere.

My bestfriend and this boy..?
You do NOT Know how pissed I am right now.. Okay this all started last year. I [[HAD]] this bestfriend and I liked this boy , I liked him first and then she started liking him.. I backed off because I let her have him even though I really liked him. Then this year My Ex broke up with me , we got back together , then i broke up with him from a false rumor im pretty sure his best friend made. Then she said she liked him even though I wasn’t over him and I backed off again TRYING TO BE A GOOD FRIEND AND NOT TO LET A BOY INTO OUR LIFE. NOW I had this boy I really did like.. then he dumped me on text , the day after we broke up she asked me if I wasn’t over him , I said I still liked him and it’s really hard to get over him sobbing on the phone , she said okay and AUTOMATICALY hung up… I was like what the heck? Then the next day I found out while she was trying to HIDE IT FROM ME. She liked my ex because he was "cute". So then I was at the mall with her and him and other friends. Me and my ex were good friends then we were texting non-stop in the movie theather and sitting next to eachother. Then she told me "amy can u move [Ex] wants to sit next to me now. I said alright in a heartbroken way. He looked at me confused and she just smirked. he texted me why did i move and i said didnt u want me to and he said noooo. so then my "friend" was holding his hand and giggling through the whole movie. Then when me and deanna were getting ready to go since I was with her he was getting ready to give me a huge hug and i REALLY wanted tht but my "friends" head was like a HEAD SPIN! so i pulled away and hugged his arm. She huged him around the neck and looked at me like a "Haha Smirk". Then she dumps him telling him i told her to , then he hated me and there friends now. Now she wrote this on her aim status ::
im a independant queen working for my throne. but every queen needs a king and quite frankly im tired of the court jesters. Then i wrote on mine

To "friend" : "im a independant queen[HELL NO U AINT!] working for my throne. but every queen needs a king[EX] and quite frankly im tired of the court jesters[me] . LEARN TO NOT BE SUCH A RETART AND PUT OUR NAMES IN THERE AND NOT IN RIDDLES , GOT IT?!

Then our other friend goes on her side saying im rude and wrong for doing that to hurt her feelings. WHAT THE HELL DID I DO!?! Please tell me what do I do and Who’s right in this situation?
And i was mature about this untill she set me off !

Why did you not ask her, "Why don’t you ever flush after sitting on your throne for such a long time?"

This Queen is not your friend. She never was, never will be. She sees you only as one of her Jesters.

Personally, I would cut all ties with this girl. I would not talk to her any more. I would not talk about her. I would simply go on about my life and leave her behind. You have already waisted too much time on her… unless you feel you are so desperate you need a friend that bad that you give up the right to ever be your own person… then I would get myself a dog, and still ditch her.

Good luck.

Sephora and Urban Decay?
Okay so urban decay is releasing a pallete that has the Alice in Wonderland theme. It was suppost to be released on the twenty eighth . I cant find it anywhere on sephora or urban decay. Any one know?:) Thank you:)

Where’d you hear that from? I’m members of both UD and Sephora. If UD were to have a palette released, it most likely will not be at Sephora first but at the UD website unless UD made the Alice in Wonderland palette just for Sephora.

I guess you’ll have to wait.

Yeah haha I know exactly what your talking about, so basically sephora lied. Now the pallet is due for release in March and will be first shown on the UD site.
