I look forward to hearing from you promptly about the above said matter.

seems good to me — what does your attorney say?

Spock (rhp) | May 26, 2009

Before you make this effort, is this debt for a defaulted/charged-off credit card account? If so, you need to understand that the original creditor will still report the negative on your credit report even if the collection agency agrees in writing to remove the item…meaning that you’ll still be stuck with bad credit after all the effort.

If this is non credit card debt, then I would try to abbreviate the letter. Leave off part "D." I would leave out the following sentence:

Having consulted with an attorney, I am aware of my legal rights and options against you.

This is overly aggressively language when you are trying to reach a Pay for Delete deal.

Move to California to go to USC and try to be an actress? 10 points!!?
I’m a junior in high school. I participate in the theater at my school. I currently have the lead for the Spring Musical of Guys and Dolls. I get straight A’s.

Since i was little I’ve dreamed of being in the movies and one day possibly winning an Academy Award. Though it’s something i aspire to do, I want to be realistic and have a back up plan. I was thinking about applying to University of Southern California. It’s in Los Angeles, so i figured that it would be a great place to get a good education in possibly a bachelor in Nursing and also try and pursue my dream of acting. If it doesn’t happen, then It doesn’t happen.

…I live out of state so the cost of attending would be pretty expensive.

Is it worth it to do this? Or should i just plan on moving there after college?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

USC has one of the best Acting programs in the country. They’re also a GREAT university overall.

Do you need a BFA/MFA degree to act? Nope. Will it help? maybe…

I majored in both business and music in college. The business degree was my best decision for many reasons. Because of it I have been more successful than my colleagues who have either started the same time as I did or have been doing this much longer. Thanks to my business degree, I have been able to successfully market myself, network effectively, be more professional, avoid scams, know tax loopholes/write offs, etc. It has also helped me produce multiple streams of income so I can pursue acting because I enjoy it and NOT as a source of income.

This is called show BUSINESS, not show-screwing around.

Also, I believe college is about experiencing as much as you can. Audit as many classes outside of your major and get involved with campus activities. Part of acting is living the life. Get a rich college experience so you have a good story to tell through your experiences.

My beef is with year+ institutions like AADA and BFA/MFA programs is this. I believe in being more diverse in my training. The year+ programs can sometimes be like factories where they churn out actors who are taught pretty much the same thing through a structured curriculum. What might work for one person, will NOT work for a different person.

Also, a lot of the conservatories and BFA/MFA programs have strict policies such as NOT being able to audition outside of their school or study at other places simultaneously. I think this is limiting to the actor. The actor should have the freedom to audition for outside projects and add to the current curriculum.

IMDB rating: 7.40

Plot: An admired high school hockey player (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) with a bright future foolishly takes a drive in the night with his girl friend and two other friends with his headlights off with devastating results. The former athlete is left with a brain injury that prevents him from remembering many things for extended periods of time. To compensate, he keeps notes in a small notebook to aid him in remembering what he is to do. He also lives with a blind friend (Jeff Daniels) who aids him. Obviously, with the mental incapacitation, he is unable to have meaningful work. Thus he works as a night cleaning man in a bank. It is there he comes under the scrutiny of a gang planning to rob the bank. The leader (Matthew Goode) befriends him and gets him involved with a young woman (Isla Fisher) who further reels him in. After they get close and after reeling him in with his own failures, the bank plan unfolds. Confused but wanting to escape his current existence, he initially goes along with the scheme. After realizing he is being used, he attempts to stop the robbery, which of course immediately goes awry. Bruce McGill and Alberta Watson also co-star as the young man’s parents, who still search for the person that was there before the tragic crash.

Why did she use up the extra fuel to drive me around to lookout point?
Her car was making a loud clunking noise from the front wheels while going round a corner and she asked me to go along for a ride in the car with her so that I could hear the noise. The first corner we went around there was the noise so we went right around the block twice to confirm the noise happens during turning left and turning right.

Then she said well lets go for a run out to the lookout point (we live by the sea and our town has a small lookout area which added about an extra 7mins to the whole trip)

I have known her for the last 3 and a half years She has always been very friendly and talkative towards me most girls are not. Every time I am around her she is very happy, giggly and funny as anything

I couldn’t figure out what was making the noise in her car and the funny thing is she has never been bothered by it since.

She like me has very little money, why did she use up extra fuel driving around to the lookout point?

Maybe to thank you for the trouble? It’s not always like that you know. Don’t limit your thinking.

Anyone ever heard this song?
It’s a remix to Leona Lewis’ "Bleeding Love" but I can’t find it anywhere except youtube. Here’s the lyrics:
Don’t listen to that he say she say
Every day Is just a replay
They try to mislead you in every way
These haters couldn’t make one point like a free throw in NBA
CaM to da E-O will be OK
Don’t worry ’bout me I’m fine like Neyo & Mary J
And yeah these people are gonna say
Whatever it takes to make me and you separate
Don’t assume the rumors are true ’cause
Dudes just ruthless, useless, And clueless
Know that I do trust Leona Lewis
No matter what they say, We gonna do us
Oooh Plus, Haters around would start to get curious
The piercing sounds are hard to experience
Starts to get serious, Fought to get rid of it
I’m Bleeding love like my hearts on a period

It’s CaMeO and Leona Lewis
We are the truest, She on some new shit
Bitter Niggas figure since I’m witta they should fill her wit’ excuses
Feed her wit’ bullshit, She isn’t stupid
We are so cool It’s
As if we on some Romeo and Julie Shit
Do I think that we make a good pair? Yes
They always gonna hate. I couldn’t care less
Mouths won’t keep shut, I hear you talkin’
Speak up, I’m all ears like Will and Martin
Rumors are not true, Jealous that I got you,
Why you stressed out boo? Try your best not to
Listen to women’s opinions of him when
We know the truth, I’ve showed the proof
My heart keeps on bleeding love
It’s insane, Last name should be pain, Like Martin & Gina was

Niggas actin’ brand new like da 5 dollar bill
They know you Cam’s boo, But these guys holla still
I should act a damn fool like "Aaaaaa ima kill"
But I’ma stay cool like "Naaa I’ma chill"
Don’t call me St. Jules or Kyle I’m for real
You’re Phony, Don’t act like you know me, Homie
My baby’s cool wit’ me and my homies
So MYOB, PS Blow Me
No time to play games like a PS Sony
Really not tryna let the BS OD
Simon, Paula, & Seacrest told me
That she’s the future, Who her, Yes her
Future, Yes Sir, Other girls are Yester,
Lord must’ve blessed da, H-E-L-L
Out of LL, No not Todd Smith,
Leona’s God’s Gift

If anyone knows where I can download this song, please send me the link. Thanks.

Severe cramping anytime I walk and big blood clots 2 days after miscarriage.?
So I had a miscarriage 2 days ago and I should have been 11 weeks but the ultrasound showed the baby stopped growing at 6. So yesterday I stayed home all day except going to the grocery store and just walking around there I had severe cramping I had to rush home but once I got home and got off my feet I was fine. But today I felt fine all day so I decided to take my 2 year old son to the park to get him out of the house for a little bit, I was only gone an hour with him and didn’t do much and the cramps were way worse than they were even during the miscarriage. I immediatly rushed home in tears and the cramps didn’t stop for 4 hours. At first I thought that was why you are supposed to take it easy for 3 days but when my sister said that wasnt normal I looked it up and its a warning sign but it doesn’t say what it means, any ideas and yes I will call the doctor monday.

When you miscarried did you go in for an exam? you may need a D&C

If you have not been examined yet get to the ER, do not wait for your doctor

i had this after my miscarriage, and had contractions starting and stopping, once they started they were going every 3minuets, this went on for 7days, then one night the pain just stopped and i felt alot of blood gush out, when i went to the toilet there was like a long stringy clot hanging out of me, i pulled it and i kind of felt my self open and a huge placenta fell into my hand, i rushed back to hospital and i had to be checked over incase anything else was left.
i would suggest calling NHS direct 08454647
*Nikki* | Jan 30, 2010

This can be normal. It is hard to say as you don’t give a lot of detail about what happened during the previous two days. natural miscarriages aren’t always as predictable as people like to think (I should know- I have had 7 & they were ALLLL different) and the vast majority require no medical intervention. So I can’t say for certain that you even passed the baby yet….and even then, there is other tissue that likely needs to come out as well. The typical medical advice is as follows:

No baths until all bleeding has stopped (showers are fine of course).
NO tampons
No sex until bleeding has stopped (not hard to do I am sure)
If you are having unbearable pain seek medical attention
If you run a fever seek medical attention
If you are soaking more than a pad per hour, seek medical attention

Did your Dr do a trans vaginal ultra sound to confirm that you have passed all or most of the tissue? If not I would request one Monday (assuming you don’t meet the above criteria for immediate medical attention). It isn’t pleasant, particularly when you may still be bleeding) but it will tell whether you have expelled everything (or most of it) or whether you may be retaining any tissue that may need to be surgically removed (D&C). I am personally not a huge advocate of D&C’s. I hosted a miscarriage support group for several years & am still a member (just got too busy to be in charge) & honestly I have seen MORE of what you describe post-D&C than I have ever heard from women who miscarry naturally – I have also seen more complications from D&C’s – with that being said – like all medical interventions there are times when it IS medically warranted as well (such as in case of hemorrhage).
After each of my losses I have always taken a WEEK off my feet basically. I know it’s hard with a toddler (I have one too) but I really did limit my activity as much as possible. Your body needs time to go through this process & to heal. Also make sure you take your prenatals still to help your body heal & be patient with yourself.

I am really sorry for your loss & hope the cramps & bleeding let up soon. For me – all of mine were over within a week – but it sometimes takes longer. In my experience anything longer than 2 weeks is something to see a Dr about as well. ((((HUGE HUGS)))

I am american he is Canadian, daughter is dual my son is American?
I am american and live in the U.S My boyfriend and father of my kid is Canadian and lives in Canada…?
We want to live together, which would be the easiest move with immigration- Him or Me… How would it work, how long and how much money would it cost?

We live in a bordertown, so one of us will still be travelig back for school and work!
yes we have one child together, and than I have my son from a previous relationship…. I would only be working and going to school in my country (us) until I grad and may and find a job when I can in canada after grad… Can my son and I still keep are american citizen ship? or once in canada and legal stuck their?

My cousin married an American, and it took about 2 years to get all the paper work to go through so he could work there. They put off getting married until the paper work went through, so it was a lengthy engagement.

My sister also married an American. She moved there right away, but it didn’t take that long to process all the paper work so that she could work though. She doesn’t have a green card though, just a work VISA, because she (like me) is originally from Belize, so she already had dual Belizean / Canadian citizenship. She couldn’t give up her Belizean citizenship because she was born there, so she would have had to give up her Canadian citizenship to get her American citizenship. She has no other relatives in the US, only in Canada, so if something happened to her husband, she wanted to be able to move back here where her family is, and so she doesn’t plan to ever become an American citizen.

I don’t know anyone (very well anyway) who immigrated to Canada from the US that way, but I think it would be easier to get into Canada than the US. At least if you listen to media and government hype.

If you are only planning to live in the other country, I’m not sure how that would work. Officials may just see that someone wants to live in their country and not work there or go to school. That could set off alarms. But if you are going back and forth every day, the border guards would likely get to know you and why you are doing so. Although, you may need to be prepared to get searched the first few times – possibly VERY thuroughly. They will be suspicious that you are going back and forth so much. They get paid to be suspicious. And they may relate your activity to possible drug smuggling.

Good luck though. You probably would be better off working and going to school in the same country you’re living in though. Come to think of it, that could cause all kinds of issues both with your work and school, if any corespondence is being mailed to another country. You may no longer be considered a resident of that country, so that could have a bad consequence, like getting fired or kicked out of school. I would certainly find out about that first, for both of you.

Wendy | Jan 15, 2009

One of you needs to apply for a spousal visa for the other to live in their country ….and if you are going to live in Canada, your son would also need to be sponsored to immigrate there. See 1st site below for info on sponsoring your boyfriend for a "fiance" visa in the U.S. See 2nd site to research Canadian family immigration. You could also consult an immigration lawyer.
Charlie | Jan 15, 2009

Canada sounds an easier move
Love Canada | Jan 15, 2009

You should be able to get Landed Immigrant status in Canada.
You need to talk to an immigration lawyer in Canada. If your bf can support you both on his job, I am certain you could get in easily enough and work on your work visa when you get here. Remember you can stay in Canada for up to six months without a visa so I can’t see it being that hard especially since you have a kid together. Also, remember that if you move to Canada you will receive universal health care, a big benefit especially when you have a kid. Come here and welcome aboard.

I want to start ballet….?
But I am thirteen. Is this too old to be just starting?
And I don’t want to have to perform, I just want to learn how to do ballet.
I told my dad I wanted to do ballet last night and he said it really screws up your feet.
But my friend today said unless you are in intense ballet things, you don’t need the block of wood in the shoes. I know this doesn’t make sense so…
Am I too old to start, and will it mess up my feet in any way?

Definitely not too old my best friend just stared 5 years ago at 16 and its actually better to start this late because your feet are more developed than a 5 year old
Hayley | Feb 07, 2010

You are certainly not too old to start ballet, unless you are aiming at a professional career (which, from what you wrote, I can safely say you are not). My friend’s mum started taking adult ballet classes two years ago, and she was forty years old back then, whereas another friend of mine decided to take classes around the same time. She was fifteen then, now seventeen, and she really shines in class. The teacher loves her and thinks she has a natural ability for ballet (although, from what I’ve seen, her turnout could be better).

Ballet will give you problems if you force your turnout (http://z.about.com/d/dance/1/G/f/0/-/-/t endufirst.jpg) which is bad for your knees and hips. But otherwise it’s perfectly safe if you are not practicing it at a very serious level (advanced level dancers who are dreaming of a career in ballet can sometimes dance up to eight hours a day, even more!).

Good luck :)
iBallet | Feb 07, 2010

its not too late and it wont mess up your feet

especially if your not wanting to perform then its definitely not too late. you can start at any age but you might just be in classes with kids much younger so you can learn the basics.

and i have danced since i was a little kid and i do a lot of ballet and so far my feet arent screwed up nor anyone elses i dance with. if your not going to be doing too much either than i dont think you have anything to worry about. if you did pointe then there would be more worry about wrecking your feet and i think thats what your friend might have been talking about. sometimes point shoes have wood at the toe part.

ballet will probably be good rather than bad. it will help with posture and everything and it can actually make your feet better.
why am i smiling? | Feb 07, 2010

1. you are never too old. i didnt start dancing until i was 12 almost thirteen. for me, i actualy think its a good thing when you start later because you can understand the excercises better than a 3 year old who is just starting. AKA you improve really fast

2. you don’t have to perform most likely. that would be a good thing to ask when looking at different studios. most studios have open or recreational classes that you dont have to perform or anyting some are even just drop in classes

3. it only screws up your feet if you are dancing "en pointe" (the shoes with the blocks of wood in then- its not acutally wood but whatever) this is where you are dancing on the vert tips of your toes and you will definitely not be doing this if you are a beginner. you have to train for a while before you go en pointe and if you are just doing classes casually it is possible you will never hav e to get these shoes if you dont want to.

DEFINITELY NOT TOO LATE, AND DEFINITELY WONT MESS UP YOUR FEET
actually it will make your feet way stronger- a good thing

hope this helps

Plot: The decadent life of novelist Catherine Trammell (Sharon Stone) continues int his sequel that finds her in the opening sequence speeding through the streets of London using the hand of her obviously under-the-influence soccer star boy friend to masturbate herself. After the car goes out of control, she manages to escape but he drowns leading to an investigation of whether she had in fact murdered him with an implication that he was already dead before the car even entered the water. Officials bring in a police psychologist (David Morrissey) to determine her mental state. Obsession sets in and the psychiatrist is drawn into her manipulations and dangerous world. As deaths occur around the pair involving acquaintances of both parties, including the psychiatrist’s ex-wife, the story twists (and doesn’t answer) to make you wonder who is committing the crimes. David Thewlis also co-stars as a perhaps corrupt police inspector and Charlotte Rampling appears as a colleague of the psychiatrist. Contains frequent nudity, depiction of orgies and graphic sexual encounters, constant profanity and violence that is mostly committed off-camera.

Of these 4 films which actress was the sexiest?
Body Heat 1981 Kathleen Turner
9 1/2 weeks 1986 Kim Basinger
Basic Instinct 1992 Sharon Stone
Out Of Sight 1998 Jennifer Lopez

I thought Body Heat in 1981 w/ Kathleen Turner was incredibly sexy at the time. SS is a steamy actress and KB is fine but I stand by my first choice.
