IMDB rating: 5.40 Plot: Jessie is an ageing career criminal who has been in more jails, fights, schemes, and lineups than just about anyone else. His son Vito, while currently on the straight and narrow, has had a fairly shady past and is indeed no stranger to illegal activity. They both have great hope for Adam, Vito’s son and Jessie’s grandson, who is bright, good-looking, and without a criminal past. So when Adam approaches Jessie with a scheme for a burglary he’s shocked, but not necessarily disinterested…. |

Deciding on a career path, changing liberal arts major, afraid of messing this up!?
I am a couple weeks from the first semester of my freshman year at SUNY Alfred being over with. Here we have three Liberal Arts programs: Science&Humanities, Math&Science, Social Science. I am in humanities and took psych, western civilization, college algebra, freshman comp, critical thinking, and PE. That gives me 16 credits.
I have been reading the program list and the descriptions for other majors and doing research on what degrees provide what. I have also been doing some soul searching and thinking on what I might want to pursue. I want a bright future and am willing to work hard to get there, however a few things are hanging over me:
I didn’t take physics or chemistry in high school, or calc, or any business oriented classes.
So I took the required: Govt/Econ, English (war, music, poetry, lit), math B, forensics(instead of chem or physics)(i liked it though) and the rest of the credits I needed.
So the college is a tech school and offers many technological courses, but seeing as I’m not really into the tech stuff I don’t really want to bother with it. Engineering is not something I refuse to do but I also can’t transfer my credits to many of the E programs. Much of the science/math related programs require a background of having taken physics and chem. Another issue is that much of the programs require an SAT score of 1000 or better in selected subjects or an ACT score of __.(I think 21) BUT, my scores were probably not even that good considering I had spent two years slacking and whatnot.
? SAT and ACT scores become irrelevant throughout college correct? Because college work is deemed just as if not more important?
Anyway
I want a Assoc. degree that will transfer relatively easy to a University, specifically Alfred Universiy for location and prestige.

these are the two schools I want to launch a career from. What do you think are my best bets and can you explain how transitioning credits and changing majors halfway through the year works?
I have talked to my advisory but he’s just a staff member assigned to students, he’s not in it for the helping aspect.
Here are some of the thoughts on what I might want in the years to come:
Occupational therapist, a Phys T assist., lawyer, paralegal, law, professor(if something really captures my mind), real estate, therapist, exec, politics, government, group leader, and anything else that is somewhat related. I am actually really open minded.
I would also like to earn a good salary of around 50k with opportunities, and time with family and flexible. Professional opinions welcomed. Thanks.
