What is wrong with my xbox?
Inserted Modern Warfare 2 for the first time, and subsequently, the new xbox dashboard was installed. I played the game without a hitch for a couple of hours. The next day i got up and the game suffered severe lag, leading to an eventual freeze. I have tried several different games, with the same result. I have tried a different television also, but the condition has deteriorated. Occasionally, the game freezes before the dashboard has even appeared. Any help would be much appreciated, as this condition has only occurred since the installation of the new dashboard, which began automatically. Is there anyway I can rectify this issue without having to send it away to be repaired?

Try installing the game to the hard drive and playing it off of that. It sounds like it’s overheating.

Then try clearing the Xbox’s cache’.

1. Go to the system blade on your menu(should be the very last one)
2. Go down to were it says memory, click on it. this should bring up your hard drive or other storage devices, press a on the one you want to empty
3. Once you’ve gotten to the screen were it shows rename or format your storage device, input Y,X,X,LB,RB,X,X and a prompt will come up asking you if you want to empty your systems cache.
Hit yes, restart your Xbox.

Just answered a Q on this.

Nobody knows. The Mayan calendar ends on that date and Mayans were 100% accurate in everything even thousands of years in advance and their calendars are even more accurate than any calendar our own scientists with their tech. can come up with.

But nobody knows what it means that their calendar ended on 12.21.2012 It could mean something big, it could mean nothing at all. I’ve been told also that a planet alignment will happen that date that’s never happened before or happened millions of years ago so nobody knows if that means anything because there’s nothing to compare it to. Also have been told a sun storm and polar shift are possible in Dec. 2012. Coincidence?

But the fact is NOBODY knows, we’ll know when it comes. Why did the Mayan calendar end that date? Nobody knows. Did they just not get a chance to finish it? Did that mean the world was gonna end? We can’t know anything till Dec. 12 2012. Everything is just guesses and speculation and theories.

Every thing that has a beginning must come to an end…but I was talking about the Mayan calendar.I mean Whoever made the calendar had to end it sometime and it doesn’t mean the world will end because the calendar ends right there.I mean if you were in charge of writing the calendar like that one.Would you be able to writhe and predict for ever?No , so you have to stop some time and what a better time that a date when something important will happen.
The movie 2012 was made taking all the doomsday theorys there are now a days, like the Super volcanoes and the polar displacement and planet alightment.

Let’s see. The last time Haley’s comet came by (1986), I remember all of the Nostradamus predictions of the end of the world (a bright light will appear in the heavens). When the year 2000 hit, I remember everyone saying how the world’s financial systems would crash because of the date change. Every time an event happens, people excite themselves and others with predictions that have no founding basis in fact. Like when 1 Jan 2001 — they thought it would be another possible critical date. These people present inuendo and interpretations of things which sound plausible but you could take the predictions of Nostradamus (for example), and make it apply to almost anything! Actual proof that we are not going to die in 2012? Come on! Be a little realistic. Who’s to say it won’t be on 11 Nov 2011? How about this past 9 Sep 2009? mayan calenders are supposed to be the most accurate of all time but the spanish destroyed most of their relics when they invaded.

It seems like a good buy if your Operating System is Vista. If its Windows 7 you want more RAM. 2GB is near to the minimum recommended, and your computer might be sluggish.

Everything seems good, however the processor seems too slow for computers now days. I have the same processor for my laptop. It’s only a single core, which usually laptops have dual core (2 cores), which is double the speed. My laptop is barely keeping up with the internet and videos, I suggest you get something that has dual core processor or X2. Recently, there was a Kohl’s Cash Coupon when the customer you get $10 coupon for every $50 spent.. so is that exclusive only for Kohl’s charge card customers? How much did Nicolas Cage make for "Ghost Rider"?
I just saw this movie the other night, and it seems to me that nobody really deserved to earn any money from it. imdb seems a bit coy on the subject (although I was amazed to learn that Nicky Boy earned $20m for National Treasure. I’d have given him fifty bucks, tops).

So, how much did young Master Coppola make from Ghost Rider, and did the movie make money over all. I’m assuming that with DVD and so forth it’s made its money back.

Although, just to reiterate, it really didn’t deserve to. It’s a dog. With fleas.

As a side question, does anybody have any idea what goes through Nic Cage’s head when he chooses a new movie project? I mean, which scripts must he have turned DOWN to make Ghost RIder? I mean, what was in his in-tray that day that was worse? Springtime for Hitler? A remake of the remake of Rollerball?
