Does anyone else think Barack Obama was set up, hoodwinked, bamboozled?
I mean seriously, look how ineffective he is at president. He can’t pass anything it seems. He won the election by a land slide as far as individual voters go and electoral votes, but he faces a ton of opposition, and I can’t help but think, DAYUM!!! American white people are shady and sketchy then a mofo. They’ll let George Bush tap their phone, not pay for two tax cuts, two wars, and many other things, but Obama barely got one Education Bill passed and they ride his azz like slavery days. I’m thinking for black people looking at Obama, that there isn’t going to be a black person that will run for office in a long time, if ever again. The racism in the US has shot up 10x its previous levels. So what do you think?

I think pulling the race card is cowardice. When a white guy an ineffective leader , we don’t blame the people of color or Afro Americans or whatever you are calling yourselves these days. George Bush couldn’t get anything passed either.
It is inappropriate to call people sketchy and shady who are white. All politicians are sketchy and shady and if you look at the state of Illinois a few of them have not been white but have been liars and cheats.
I would vote for a black president
Obama is not a black president. I think the real issue is he is half white. Why don’t we get credit or blame for the half of him that is white? He is mulatto, you know?

Sorry no, Epic Failure. Although comparing him to bush would be like comparing A rock and a Harvard grad on IQ tests (bush is the rock). We will see if he continues to screw up. Trust me, If you think people are riding his ass now, you will see. Who can blame them. We are all under stress because of the American situation. As for the black president thing, I am personally waiting for the first Latino president or woman president or, or, or perhaps the first LatinA president.
Edit: oh and BTW, I really think the "racism shot up 10x" is just anxiety your having. I have a lot of white and black friends and family who range from ages 4-45. None of them have increased hostility towards the afro american people

No. Anyone who would have assumed office would have had a difficult time. Seriously, take the time to consider the almost unprecedented circumstances that happened within the last 10 years that were handed over to Obama and you can’t help but see this has little to do with race. Sure, people who were already racist have become 10x more vocal and vociferous, but that is only understandable especially considering the dire circumstances. Fear often acts as a powerful catalyst to bigotry. It is not as if a lot more people have become racist, it is just that the few people who are have become loud and motivated.
Bush came into office with low expectations and his political ambitions were fueled by the good will of 9/11 and Afghanistan / the "war on terror". When that political wind-stream failed, he lost the 2006 midterm elections and Democrats seized control of Congress in 2007 and took over the White House in 2009. Unfortunately for them, bipartisanship and good will with the American people had quickly run out. Americans were already angry, afraid, and skeptical when Obama took office and his promise of hope has been short lived with many people. He was ambition his first year in office and passed a huge economic stimulus bill, signed numerous Executive orders and tried to tackle some of the most contentious issues before him such as health care and "cap and trade" (green house emissions). He made some mistakes along the way that has only worsened an already bleak outlook.
Overall he has tried to make the best of a horrible scenario. Only Lincoln and perhaps Washington and Roosevelt have had more difficult circumstances handed to them.
You are stupid to think this all boils down to some massive racial conspiracy.

If anything it’s going to make more black people run to make things more equal. I think Obama was setup to a point. Republicans are going to do anything they can to stop Democratic polices going through that’s to expected anyway. I really don’t think that Obama’s problems aren’t going to make black people want run for office but if anything seeing a black president is going to make them want to run seeing that they can succeed at running for office.

No it’s not a race thing, and I don’t feel he is a screw up either… He just became the president at a bad time… you know after the 8 years of bullsh** this country has been through with Bush… Alot of people are just overwhelmed and they get their emotions mixed when it comes to him.
