I cant think of the movie name but it might of been about vampires, and they were snorting blood like cocaine?
Anyways I just remember a scene where there was crystalised form of blood and these camps wood snort it. I wanna say I saw it in Blade Trinity but I own the movie and don’t rmember that scene.

I couldve seen it in True Blood but I can remember, I know it wasn’t Daybreakers.

The lines were chopped up into individual lines put the color of the coke was red. It really couldve been True Blood.

Any takers? Easy 2 pts.
I meant Vamps not camps.

im pretty sure that was true blood.

Is this a good definition of Democrats?
1. Democrats believe in Big Government
2. Democrats believe in Income Redistribution
3. Democrats believe that the Government knows how to spend your money better than you do.
4. Democrats believe in the Cradle to Grave Welfare system and that takes a lot of money

				You need schooled:

Definitions of democrat on the Web:

    * a member of the Democratic Party
* an advocate of democratic principles
Sandra M | Oct 17, 2009

No, but that does sound like a stinking lying Republican’s spin to it.

Thank God my parents and their parents were good old fashioned Democrats!

If you live in freedom then you better thank a faithful American Veteran, whether Democrat or Republican!

If you can’t love our fairly elected President, then please go somewhere else.

.
U.S.Veteran | Oct 17, 2009

That is a good definition of politics in general.
Jim | Oct 17, 2009

No; Republicans are the ones trying to ban Abortion, gay marriage, immigration, etc. on a National level.

No; That’s not even a political side. That’s an economic system…even if it was ideology, the Democratic party is very diverse and DOES have members of both sides.

The average American ’caused this recession by buying houses they couldn’t afford…Democrats in office DO know more. They have proof of what they say will be efficient…but no, they don’t believe it.

No; Left-wing sides aren’t necessarily Democratic sides. Democrats are diverse.
Steve | Oct 17, 2009

Dems believe in a functional gov. and a pay as you go tax structure- look what happens when this is ignored–bankruptcy! I don’t expect you to understand this, however as you are a victim of your own Spin. Sorry but the truth is difficult to absorb after a heavy loss and failure.
Tom | Oct 17, 2009

No. Not even close. I don’t believe in big government, only regulations to keep people safer. Wealth distribution is just a talking point, as it was brought up in reference to income taxes, which we have had forever. 3 & 4 are just plain irrelevant.

Some advise, look at people as individuals and don’t assume you know how other people think. Our current president ran on a platform of promoting education and motivation. The opposite of welfare.
lawgirl | Oct 17, 2009

Yes, that sounds about right. Actually that pretty much defines Republicans too.
Brutus | Oct 17, 2009

				uh, no
good guy | Oct 17, 2009

				Exactly right.

But may I suggest a 5th point?

5. They like to keep little babies in cages.
Cook Free or Die | Oct 17, 2009

That list might be a little too general, but some of the reasons why I have never considered myself a democrat. However, I will vote for candidates from the democrat party until the GOP returns to the party that I registered with in 1967.
Susan J | Oct 17, 2009

I think the best definition would be succinct enough to fit in one sentence, so here’s my definition:

Democrats believe the average person never reaches the intellectual and emotional stage of adulthood, and hence needs a doting, nanny government his whole life.
pachl@sbcglobal.net | Oct 17, 2009

				5. Current Republican party makes the previous options necessary.

Perhaps.
towwwdothello | Oct 17, 2009

No but thanks for the easy 2 points!

BTW—If democrats believe in Big government why are they always trimming it after a republican was in the oval office?
Jeff S | Oct 17, 2009

				Right on, you nailed it.
Gladys | Oct 17, 2009

				Yes.. the "Modern" democrat.

Which is far far different than the democrats of the 50’s and 60’s
The MobFather | Oct 17, 2009

Nope that is not a good definition. But it is exactly what the Republicans think. They also think Hitler is alive today. They use the name of Hitler to describe everyone who is opposite of them. Your gang believes that anyone on Welfare should be put into Concentration Camps and then into the grave. That is what Hitler did and you tell us, that we are like Hitler. Hell No, it’s not us.
norskeyenta2 | Oct 17, 2009

				no.

next question.
myrrdin_810 | Oct 17, 2009

That is a definition of Socialism, not the philosophy of the Democratic party in the US.

1. Clinton saved money when he closed military bases. Bush increased the number of agencies. Obama has added federal jobs. I don’t know how one administration compares to the other in numbers.

2. I do not see any income being given to the poor by the rich. I did notice that in Alaska under Palin, the state gives each resident $1200 from oil revenues that the state receives.

3. Without the federal government, the states would not have enough money and/or they would not use it for you. That means no disability, no unemployment insurance, no workers comp, no medicaid, no consumer protections, no environmental protections, no good highways, no national parks and recreation, and on and on.

4. I dont see where there is Cradle to Grave money in the US. That would mean that all citizens have health care, a pension and burial costs, l and none of that is true in the US.
jennifer | Oct 17, 2009

				There’s two kinds.
-Those that mean well, but are naive.
-And those who use government money to keep themselves in power and money.

The first bunch fits your list. The second bunch can’t possibly be dumb enough to believe all that (they are "intellectual elite" and career politicians and bureaurocrats). The second bunch thinks they will be OK even if the nation crashes – they have the power to tax and spend. In fact, economic distress just makes people rely on govt. more, so they expect to benefit.

    Google "cloward-piven strategy"
jeff m | Oct 17, 2009

well —-actually yes—-that does seem to be the direction the party has spiraled down to. Once upon a time many stood for the occasional noble cause— but greed and and the hunger for power and control has displaced any genuine concern to benefit the little guy—-now it’s all lip-service—–don’t listen to what they say——watch what they do.
EZMZ | Oct 17, 2009

Only thing missing in that question is.
In number 4 you should have added, hard working tax payers dollars. Great question. Thanks for asking.

answer only if you have seem the movie se7en?
I saw the movie seven a few weeks back.. The one with brad pitt and morgan freeman. At the end of the film what is in the box and why is brad screaming for??? Also what is the quote from hemmingway.

"Once they reach the outskirts, a van appears and Somerset stops it. The driver claims someone paid him $500 to deliver a box at this place and time. As Somerset opens the box, he recoils in horror from what he sees inside. As he screams to Mills and instructs him not to listen to Doe, Doe admits to Mills that he admires Mills’ life, to the point of growing jealous of his wife and the love they share. He states that he tried to "play husband" with Tracy earlier that day but it did not work out and he took a souvenir instead: "her pretty head". It was Doe’s plan that Mills kill him, as he was guilty of ENVY. He also reveals to Mills that Tracy was pregnant. Mills, despite the pleading of Somerset, is too shocked by his wife’s death and the knowledge that she was pregnant and empties his gun into Doe. Mills, by killing Doe in vengeance, comes to embody the sin of WRATH.

After Mills is taken away, Somerset is asked where he will be and responds, "around." The film ends with the sun setting over the desert, with Somerset quoting Ernest Hemingway’s For Whom the Bell Tolls:

How can I get my girl? Please help?
Ok so my girl is locked away cause mom is afraid of loosing check. So her mom sent her to a lock up facility. Her mother thinks I am going to figure out a way to get married to her doughter. The only reason her mom will not let us merry is because her mother recieves a check for my girlfriend living there. If not for that check she could care less. I know this because mom mentally abuses her bad. Calls her all kinds of S*uts, W*hor*s things like that. Makes her the little slave of the house hold to. Ok now my legal use against the mother of my girlfriend. I just need help trying to use my legal things I guess you could say. Well first off mother said I could merry her doughter if I got a Job. Secondly Mother lets her two oldest sons smoke weed. She even gives them money to buy the drugs. Then her mom has a BF that is a alcoholic. Then you have me NO ONE in my home does drugs. Nor does anyone in my home have any type criminal record. My girl is locked away rite now cause mom is afraid I am going to figure out a way to merry her doughter in a manner where I will not need her concent. So I need good legal advice. Where do I start. I got a job mom still has not let us get married. I still have the paper that her mother sighned stateing we could get married if I got a job. The drugs and drinking in house. The mental abuse by mom twords my girlfriend. So where do I go where do I start on getting my Girl out of a treatment program she dont even need to be in. If I succeed on getting her out. Where do I go from there on getting her emancipated. Or maby even a way to get my mother to somehow get costady over my girl. I know my mom will have to participate in these things in order for it to happen. My mother told me to figure out what to do and she will help. So where do me and my mom go. I Love this girl with all my heart I need to get her out of the enviroment that she is in. Please help I live in Arkansas Pulaski county if that helps any at all. Thanks for all the answers.
