Leaf snuggled closer to Puff. She let the warmth of her mother oak through her body.
"Shh, Leaf." Moth said warmly to her. "Let Puff sleep." Moth swept Leaf away from her mother and gave her fur a quick lick. "Leaf. Where is Boulder?" Moth questioned her.
"Huh?" Leaf yawned.
"Boulder." Moth repeated. "Where is he?"
Leaf flicked her tail toward the brown tom sleeping. Moth nodded thankfully and gave Leaf one last final lickbetween her ears before padding away.
Leaf rolled over in tiredness. Thinking of no better thing to do, she stumbled over toward Moth and Boulder and listened.
"Boulder, you saw Puff…" she said uncertainly. "She didn’t seem herself."
"You just said this!" Boulde snapped. "She is fine. She is tired."
"But…" Moth trailed off. Seeing Leaf, she quickly said,"Lets go hunt."
Boulder shrugged. Moth began to walk away, and Boulder followed, leaving Leaf in the dust.
Leaf turned to Puff. Her white and ginger fur sparkled with light of late Leaffall. Leaf settled down- but heard a small rustling in the bushes. Turning quickly, Leaf saw a large black and white figure in the bushes. Another cat? she thought. Leaf trotted over to greet them. Another cat, a small cat, appeared, along with another small kit. Then, 3 other large cats shadows cross the bushes. Leaf waited patiently. But then, the cats stepped out, and Leaf froze.
Badgers.
Chapter 2 will be from Moth’s perspective- Boulder and Puff die from the badgers. The sisters wander and eventually find the clans- like the story?
Animalover- Thanks! But, can you tell me which parts are confusing- I want to rewrite it.
I rewrote it. And, yeah, t doesn’t GET exciting until the badgers come, in the next chapter. Boulder and Puff are tooken.

I am going to be honest here, and if i sound mean in any way sorry, i don’t mean to. It is a little boring and confusing. Sorry, it just is. I read it to the end but i am really really confused. It makes no sense. Maybe try writing differently? Hope i helped and good luck!
