Chapter 1
I heard the hungry snarling behind me. I darted into the bushes and continued to sprint through the forest. I could no longer feel my legs, and I silently prayed that I was faster than the savage monstrosity that was after me.
Its head and face were literally blazing with fire the color of ice and completely covered in metallic horns. The air filled with a thousand blood-curdling screeches. It was as if the beast’s breathing was replaced with the screams and cries of its many unfortunate victims.
I made a sharp turn and the thing smashed into a tree, rumbling the ground beneath me. It let out an angry roar and a thick vine whipped out and wrapped around my leg. I reached down and began to tear at it. As soon as I did, something cold and wet lashed out and wrapped around my wrist. I looked up at the creature and something green and brown was stretched from his mouth. It was his tongue.
Disgusted, I whipped out my blade, O mais vicioso, and prepared to stab at the tongue. I heard a sickening squirt and a burst of flames. The beast let out an angry howl and was carried away with the wind in the form of a thousand souls.
Behind the beast was a girl about my age, with red hair that seemed to flow in all directions at once. She was my height and her arms were completely covered in tattooed symbols that gave a faint glow. I shrugged it off, guessing…hoping that my eyes were playing tricks on me. I opened my mouth to speak, but she was immediately next to me, and the next moment running through the forest full speed, dragging me along by my wrist.
I regained my footing and ran alongside her.

What James Bond movies should I buy?
Dilemma here.
I LOVE 007, but the films are highly inconsistent. From Russia With Love is one of my favorite movies ever, Casino Royale is extremely enjoyable, Licence to Kill is okay, and Die Another Day is the absolute worst.
I plan on buying several more Bond movies soon, but I am torn on which ones to buy. Here’s where you help!

Those are the only ones I have seen yet (save for Die Another Day, which made me want to die…ironically).
I tend to love the grittier 007 movies, along with the old ones, and I don’t like a silly Bond. Connery’s the best to me, but I haven’t seen any w/ Moore. I plan on buying The Living Daylights, OHMSS, and a couple others.
Which one: Diamonds Are Forever or You Only Live Twice? Or Both?
And what R. Moore 007’s would I like enough to get?
Diamonds Are Forever
If he was in it it would o fbeen a diffrent script, the whole film focusing or ending with him finally hunting down Blofeld for revenge and killing him. Like the YOLT book. Instead they totally ignore OHMSS, this one seems to take place after the YOLT film.
You Only Live Twice
Most moviegoers consider this movie way too silly or campy, but for me it’s one of my favs. I never get tired of this Bond movie. It’s hard taking your eyes off of Donald Pleasence as the sinister Blofeld. Pleasence captured the archetypal megalomaniac with elegant and terrifying grace. Without him, this film would have fallen flat. You Only Live Twice is up there with Dr. No, Goldfinger and From Russia With Love as my favorite Connery Bond films. I don’t care much for Thunderball (nor its 1980s remake).
I go for You only live once.

Sean Connery — Dr No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger
George Lazenby – On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (only one he did)
Roger Moore – Live and Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me, Octopussy (last good Bond film he did)
Timothy Dalton – I don’t recommend either, but prefer License to Kill over the other. Grittier, more action, definitely Bond on revenge.
Pierce Brosnan – Goldeneye
Daniel Craig – Casino Royale (new one comes out this November, first true sequel to a Bond film, Quantam of Solace)
Definitely stay away from the original Casino Royale and Never Say Never Again. Both were Bond films but were not produced by Brocolli.
If you truly like Bond, you will eventually buy them all, but some of them you won’t watch as much as others.

Casablanca (1942)

Plot: During World War II, Europeans who were fleeing from the Germans, sought refuge in America. But to get there they would first have to go Casablanca and once they get there, they have to obtain exit visas which are not very easy to come by. Now the hottest spot in all of Casablanca is Rick’s Cafe which is operated by Rick Blaine, an American expatriate, who for some reason can’t return there, and he is also extremely cynical. Now it seems that two German couriers were killed and the documents they were carrying were taken. Now one of Rick’s regulars, Ugarte entrusts to him some letters of transit, which he intends to sell but before he does he is arrested for killing the couriers. Captain Renault, the Chief of Police, who is neutral in his political views, informs Rick that Victor Laszlo, the European Resistance leader, is in Casablanca and will do anything to get an exit visa but Renault has been “told” by Major Strasser of the SS, to keep Laszlo in Casablanca. Laszlo goes to Rick’s to meet Ugarte, because he was the one Ugarte was going to sell the letters to. But since Ugarte was arrested he has to find another way. Accompanying him is Ilsa Lund, who knew Rick when he was in Paris, and when they meet some of Rick’s old wounds reopen. It is obvious that Rick’s stone heart was because of her leaving him. And when they learn that Rick has the letters, he refuses to give them to him, because “he doesn’t stick his neck out for anyone”.

The Allies invaded Casablanca in real life on 8 November 1942. As the film was not due for release until spring, studio executives suggested it be changed to incorporate the invasion.
Casablanca, Morocco, was one of the key stops for refugees fleeing Nazi-occupied Europe,
Warner Bros. had intended to use the "Horst-Wessel-Lied", the anthem of the Nazi party, during the "battle of the anthems" sequence, but the copyright was controlled by a German company, and Warners dropped that anthem for the lesser "Die Wacht Am Rhein" rather than violate the rights (which would have prompted the German copyright holder on the song to prohibit the movie from being shown in any country not at war with Germany).
Conrad Veidt, who played Maj. Strasser, was well known in the theatrical community in Germany for his hatred of the Nazis, and in fact was forced to hurriedly escape the country when he found out that the SS had sent a death squad after him because of his anti-Nazi activities.

Can I sue my mother in law and my husband's mistress?
My husband is a self described mama’s boy. His mother opposed our marriage because I am from a different ethnicity. Despite this, he found the guts to marry me anyway. The problem is now we are married he ran out of gumption. He allowed his mother to act as a matchmaker between him and an his ex-gf, whom he never loved but whom provided creature comforts for him when he was down and out. He moved in with the ex-gf. He recently came clean and wants to go to counseling, but the mistress is acting like a wife and not letting my husband out of her sight to keep us from reconciling. She reads his e-mails, took away the keys so that he can not drive to come and see me, and even called his mother to give me h*ll. My MIL called and threatened to send my husband out of state to get us divorced! If this marriage ends it will be due to my husband’s weakness but also largely as a result of the actions these two took to break us up. There is no "alienation of affection" in NY but how about harrassment or something linked to breach of contract (since marriage is a contract which these 2 are encouraging my husband to break.) I am mad as h*ll and want to stick it to them for what they are doing. Can I sue them, and if so, for what?
They want us to divorce so I am not giving them what they want. My husband has come to see me when he hasn’t been kept like an immate under house arrest.

People that are good at both python and C? I think it depends on what you want to make. I’m not sure what you would make with C AND python. If it is a game or something loosely related, you can always try down at gamedev.net. But remember that programming is a difficult job, and a lot of people expect some sort of reward for their hard work.
