I really came just to talk to you a bit…

I suspect that you are just a girl in school who made an account at Yahoo Answers to get homework help, but when you got here and saw it, you added 93 contacts on your first day *smile* *BIG smile* (well, most of us are a little more selective than that about what friends we add.)
Look, the thing is we’re a community that posts gag questions to invite our funny contacts to make joke answers to. We hang out and make jokes.
It’s what we’re here to do, but there’s a report button, and technically our questions often break the posting rules…and occasionally we will get what we call a "troll" ( a real jerk who goes around reporting people’s answers until they get their account terminated)
We work hard building our accounts. They contain all the funny jokes we wrote…the links to our friends, and the points we have built up. If we lose our account to a troll, Yahoo doesnt listen when we tell them we were falsely reported.
Yahoo put that stupid report button there and left the place to be absentee run by the natural finks in life.
And so trolls can damage us, and Yahoo doesnt protect us,
- so our only protection is to fear newcomers.
Most of us post on our profile things so you can see what we’re like, but also a request that if you’re new, dont add me till youve been here for a while (gotten to level 3 or 4)… (When someone lasts until level 4 they most likely arent a troll.)
The average troll makes a brand new account and adds a bunch of people, and he doesnt take mail.
You did all three.
People arent going to add you back.
Some are blocking you.
We know we can sometimes exclude innocent people this way, and feel bad, but it’s our only line of defense as I said.
I looked at the question you posted though, and get the feeling you arent a troll, so I wanted to be nice to you, and welcoming. It can be a fun place here. You make friends and tell jokes and have laughs! Its great actually. 
So if you came back, and read this, because you’d like to join, you can add mmmm..the soup nazi account..I will leave you connected to the soup nazi (meaning if I’m wrong here, I will lose that account! but..I want you to have a chance..so mail me back on that account,
and set your account to take mail!! people will block you if you dont take mail (its a number one sign of a troll ..and while your at level one, no one will trust you yet)
But thats ok, you can get to level 2 quickly (by answering questions & voting on undecided ones)
and people will start to add you then , because they see your answers and find out youre cool, and you can have 93 contacts after a month or so (but not on the first day! lol lol you made people a bit nervous.
I hope I’m right, here,
and that you dont feel upset at the initial rejection.
We’d love to have you join the community, just take it a bit slower…the thing is to email people when you add them, and introduce yourself a little, so they dont think youre a troll)
and wait till you get to level 2 to start adding (you can get there in 3 days).
and keep your mail open so we can talk to you, and not think you have a reason to hide.
And you can do fine and have a great time here if you want.
But thats the way we do it.
