Crisp, thanks to a 854×480 resolution that makes for 267ppi. (The iPhone is 163ppi.) Seriously, looking at my inbox is kinda making me drool. Besides clarity, touch response seems dead on. The keyboard works way better than it looks. It appears flat, but there’s a slight bump to every key that, combined with the soft rubber texture, just works.
Perhaps one of the top highlights of Android 2.0 is the expanded capabilities of the personal information management tools, including e-mail, calendar, and contacts. The Droid now offers native Microsoft Exchange synchronization out of the box for e-mail, calendar, and contacts, in addition to support for Gmail and POP3 and IMAP accounts.
Especially snappy is the Droid’s Web browser, which loads images quickly thanks to the powerful 550MHz processor and speedy hardware-accelerated graphics. Though you are at the mercy of your 3G high-speed data network coverage, once you’re in it, Web surfing is breezy and smooth. Video from sites such as YouTube looks equally impressive; the playback of a high-definition YouTube cartoon (”Sita Sings the Blues”) was excellent, with no stalling or audio dropouts.
Of course more than a few reviewers have some quibbles. Mr. Anthony, for instance, doesn’t like the occasionally grainy shots produced by the Droid camera. And most of the reviews we read criticized the QWERTY keyboard. (Importantly, the Droid does have a touch-screen like the iPhone, but also real rubber keys.) Here’s CNET:
Though many users will welcome a physical keyboard, we weren’t particularly impressed. The keys are flush and squashed next to each other, which makes it difficult to text quickly or by feel. Also, though the buttons do give a slight downward “push,” they’re a bit slick and we were thrown off by the “dummy keys” on either end of the bottom row. On the whole it is a better experience than the T-Mobile G1, but not nearly as comfortable as on the Cliq or even on the Samsung Moment.
Bottom line: The Droid is a good phone. It might even be a great phone. Will it blow the iPhone out of the water? Not right away. But the sheer amount of buzz surrounding the Droid debut suggests that Apple is susceptible to an attack from a smartly-manufactured, well-executed smartphone.

What do people eat for Halloween ? Other than candy ?
Give me a specific list of foods, please. Be ironic…
In other words, people have a tendency to eat baked or
fried chicken, on a Sunday. So what do people eat
on Halloween, other than candy ? What is the typical
dinner for that holiday? Best answer wins.
Whatever they like.

I know a lot of people who eat spaghetti with "eyeballs" for halloween dinner. Or spooky tacos with olives that look like eyes. Also, I have seen people make meatloaf into the shape of a man and douse him with ketchup "bloody man meatloaf".
Those are all pretty good meal ideas. Most kids like those foods and will eat them before they load up on all the candy.

We noramlly eat Chinese food…because we know it’s made from black cats!
Not really.
We normally have some kind of "earthy" food, since it’s really a holiday that celebrates the Wiccan harvest. So we eat a lot of roasted pork, and red potatoes…some squash maybe, and corn.
nannyjankins | Oct 27, 2007
We always had pizza. I used to work a Domino’s Pizza, and oddly enough, it was one of the busiest days of the year after Superbowl Sunday.

we usually have something simple but rib sticking since we are busy trick or treating, like spaghetti and meatballs or sloppy joes. Chili is good too. I always decorate the table with candles and we eat in the dim. I also read James Whitcomb Riley’s poem Little Orphant Annie.

Well, everyone is different in there likes.. Anything goes in our house. But for drink, Cider, and for desert, Pumpkin Pie. I think Sweet Potatoes or Candied Yams are great with a veggie and either Ham or other well liked Meat. When my kids were small, I usually was too busy walking them around house to house after school, to then start cooking a big meal. So sometimes it was just good old Pizza!

I feel that halloween is a special day for businesses and they try hard to entice you to buy all kind of things, nevertheless you c eat all you want without adhearing to any specifics, whatever you can afford, regardless of type of holiday.

Try apple cider. Put ketchup on some things to look like blood. Also change your condiments to wine bottles or something like that and take off the label and tape on one that says poisonous ‘vinegar oil’. Also try food network.com in the holidays section. There is a wide variety of choices.

Everyone I know eats regular food, whatever they want from steak to fried chicken or tacos to whatever. When I was a kid we always headed to Taco Time for supper before going to the mall to trick or treat.
winter_spice78 | Oct 27, 2007
I’ve never had any special dinner for Halloween. But it has to be in a crockpot, simmering on the stove, or a casserole in the oven. That way we can pick at it in between doorbell rings to hand out candy.

I remember last year I went out for chinese food with some friends. And the year before that we ordered pizza. I think most people with kids probably order inpizza or something on trick or treat night because it’s too hard to get the kids ready to go out and cook dinner at the same time!
But when I was little my mom used to make chili around this time of the year!! yummmy!

Chili is great for a family dinner or a party. Make a double batch for a larger crowd. Great with apple cider. If you are having a party, serve Bat Wings as an appetizer. Have pumpkin pie for dessert.
CHILI CON CARNE
2 lb. ground chuck
8 strips bacon
2 onion chopped
2 green pepper chopped
4 stalks celery chopped
6 cloves garlic crushed
2 cans (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
2 cans light red beans
1 tsp. each – ground cumin, basil, oregano, parsley, paprika, red pepper flakes
4-6 tsp. chili powder
Black pepper to taste
Salt to taste
Chop bacon and fry in large kettle until lightly crispy. Remove bacon and add to kettle ground beef, onion, garlic, and all spices and herbs. Cook until beef is browned and onion is transparent. Add celery and green pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender. Add tomatoes, cooked bacon, and beef broth. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add beans and cook 2 hours longer. (The longer the chili is cooked the better it tastes.) Top with shredded cheddar cheese. Serve with cornbread or crackers.
BAT WINGS WITH SWAMP DIP (Appetizer)
20 chicken wings (3-1/2 pounds)
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 tsp. grated fresh ginger or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 tsp. five spice powder
2 cloves garlic, minced
Swamp Dip (see below)
Place wings in a plastic bag set in a shallow dish. In a small bowl stir together soy sauce, ginger, crushed red pepper, five spice powder and garlic. Pour over wings. Close bag and toss to coat. Chill in refrigerator several hours or overnight, turning bag occasionally.
When ready to cook, remove wings from bag, reserving marinade. Place wings on a foil-lined 15 x10 x1-inch baking pan. Bake uncovered in a 450 F. oven for 10 minutes. Brush with reserved marinade (discard remaining marinade). Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or until chicken is tender and no longer pink. Serve with Swamp Dip. Makes 20 appetizers.
Swamp Dip:
In a small bowl stir together an 8-ounce container of dairy sour cream and 3 tablespoons coarse ground mustard. Garnish with fresh whole chives. Serve with bat wings.

The Redskins are home against the Cowboys on Sun, Nov 16 2008.
Romo, Newman, Kosier, and Felix Jones are all said to be back after the bye week. Will these players play a factor in the game against the Redskins or have the Cowboys just fallen apart? Also keep in mind that the Cowboys will have to win 5 out of their next 7 games to be eligible for the playoffs. Who would you put your hard earned money on?

Is there a way to get Netflix watch it instantly on PS3? like installing Linux and using Firefox to do so? Have you done it or something else to do so? What is the quality like? I would really like this to be a wireless thing. Any help would be much appreciated!
i know you can install linux on the ps3 but i never did it. but what i have done in the past before i got my new computer is go on to the ps3 internet browser and type in tvshack.net and watch movies and tv shows (even ones that are still in theaters(but the quality isn’t allows the best for those movies but great for ones that are out on video))
but if you really want a os (operating system) on your ps3 like linux
here are some links about it
**** word of caution if your intent on putting linux on your ps3 be warned that if you don’t back up your data you could lose it*****
good luck hope this helps
| Jul 12, 2009
Nope, you should have got a 360.
emarker64g | Oct 26, 1992
If you mod your PS3 and install an OS on it the possibilities are endless. Netflix, midget porn, youtube, ect; you think it and you can watch it.
Dr4m0n | Jul 12, 2009
Yes you can, but it will require a computer, and you will need a piece of software called "PlayON." You can get a free 14 day trial of the software, just google it. I think its at mediamall.com or something like that.
The software is $30, but it lets you play from Netflix Instant View, You Tube, Hulu, CBS, etc. many video sites. I bought it, I think its worth the money.
This method requires no modification to your PS3 or nothing fancy, you just install the software on the PC. Even with Linux installed, it gets complicated to play Netflix Instant View due to the Digital Rights Management they use, I would suggest just getting this piece of software and saving the headache, though Yellow Dog Linux for PS3 is pretty sweet.
Luis | Jul 12, 2009
You can only if u put Linux on Ur ps33 but i wouldn’t you can just rent netflix movies and have them delivered to u
bigdad84 | Jul 12, 2009
Ummm….That’s 360. Don’t ever ask a question like this again it’s dumb. Playstation has the PSN store that offers video rentals for like $4 for like a week. Check it out before you ask something next time.

so easy go to the internet icon on ps3 then type www.netflix.com then watch any movie ther !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I have to go to Law School which I am applying to this fall and pass the bar but what’s next? What do firms look for in a white collar criminal defense attorney? Do I have to work in some other law specialties before I go in to it?
You can try to find a job in a law firm that specializes in white collar defense work, but it may be difficult. Most firms look at grades when looking for interns/law clerks who have completed their first year of law school.
You may have to clerk/intern at the public defender’s office – those are primarily "blue-collar" crimes, but you will get experience defending criminals, going to trial, etc. Things that will make you more marketable…
The Webpage title shows up bolded in google search results. I modified this title yesterday to say something else.. How long will this take to change in google?
Google will display your old title until they come back to your website and re index it. The version that they are showing you is what they have in their indexed and you can see the "cached" version in google.
Near every search result there is a link called cached directly to the right of the display URL called cached click on it and google will show you your web pagee the way it was when they found it. Try it on a popular blog and you will see that the information is different.
It generally takes less than 30 days for google to comeback to a website and reindex it. For popular sites they sometimes come back on a daily basis. In some rare cases if google finds your page/site to be irrelevent then they won’t come within 30 days and it will take them longer. You can check on the cached version of your page to see when was the last time google was there and hopefully they will be back soon to reindex your page.
David | May 06, 2009
It depends on what you have your site map set on. You can tell google to come back hourly, daily, weekly or monthly. You also need to make sure you have an allow robot.txt in your header.
If you have neither, then google will crawl you usually with in 2 weeks or sooner. Let’s say you have a link on my site and I get crawled tomorrow. If you are not telling google when, then your link will be followed from my site and crawled tomorrow.
Also remember, being crawled does not reflect your ranking.
Always update your Google site map any time you make any page ext changes as well. Change, delete or add and update site map.
this is all with google webmasters
unlimited1010 | May 06, 2009
To cut it short, it depends upon how frequently Google indexes your site, which depends on how frequently your site is being updated.
