Trouble Trusting My Bf?
So I have bf that seems to have little going for himself but has promising potential. What bothers me is that allows his situation to affect the way he treats me. I feel as if there is a serious lack of communication. I know guys like to have their space and go out with their friends but my problem is that when he’s out…he’s out. He doesn’t like to answer his phone, doesn’t return my texts and usually makes time to see me at "his" conveinence.I try to let him know how it makes me feel, but his excuse is that I nag him too much and that he’s used to being to disappointed so it doesn’t bother him to disappointment someone else. Not really sure if the situation is going to get better because he’s about to start doing club promotions really heavy and I know that’s going to take away time for us to hang out or whatever. I really do love him. I’ve been putting up with this for over a year. Im really fed up frustrated and tired of having to remind him of this. He says I’m young and don’t know how to deal with a man. He says men move around and are often forgetful. And I mean thats undestandable but I feel like he’s just plain inconsiderate. For instance, he’ll say he’s coming over to hang out and then I just wont hear from him til like the nxt afternoon. He tells me I should just chill and let him get his act together but my thing is…he keeps making promises and breaking them. I don’t know what to do. Because of this I have no faith or trust in him because of his lack of communication and dependability.
Woah, what a situation… It kind of seems like hes not ready for commitment or a real relationship, hes still in party mode and needs to know that your not going to deal with that. I’m sorry but it seems like he’s living his life outside and will its all done has someone to go home to. Remember to be strong and don’t let him control you, don’t believe that crap about you not knowing how to deal with a man i would tell him the only man you know how to deal with is a real one!

Sorry but he sounds like an arrogant, egotistical male. He wants you to understand men, but he is doing nothing to understand you. It’s like a one-sided relationship and basically, there is no such thing. "Relationship" is an experience between more than one individual. Will this get worse? No, it will continue like this as long as You let it, but eventually he’ll move on and you’ll be crushed, wallowing in your emotions for this self-centered guy. Sounds harsh, but it’s the truth.
