Why is my boyfriend keeping this from me & am I being used?
So, my boyfriend is at boot camp right now. We dated a month before he left. He will be gone for 3… He dated his ex for a year and a half and broke up with her because he wanted to be "single" before boot camp. He then dated three girls within a month (without telling her…one girl was my cousin) and then he dated me for a month before he left. He says he LOVES ME ALREADY. (:

They’ve been broken up for 2 months, but I heard from a trust worthy source that he was contacting her the week before he left for boot camp. I heard he called at least 3 times and they talked for 30 min. each time. He ALSO drove to her house WITHOUT TELLING ME to tell her bye. He didn’t cheat. He also told her we AREN’T serious? But still brings me up a lot in conversation to make her jealous? Makes no sense to me. (this was 3 weeks ago btw.)

So, I heard he called her from boot camp 5 days ago…he called his dad, his brother, and her. He wrote her a letter too! He called her by the nick name he used to call her when they dated. (his brother told me this because she is really good friends with him still) I’ve gotten a letter too though. (:

What is going on here? Am I just a rebound?? He used to talk SO badly about her…I don’t get it! He even told her he didn’t want to get back together, but he’s done this before & still asked her out again…I’m confused

It sounds like he’s just playing the field without any knowledge of what he really wants. I mean he ended a year and a half relationship and proceeded to jump into 3 other ones in one month. Then just 2 months after ending a serious relationship he dates you and says he loves you just after a short period of time. He’s also still contacting her, calling her the nickname he used to call her, told her that you guys aren’t serious… he sounds very very confused and I doubt he really loves you b/c if he did he wouldn’t be telling her that you aren’t serious. I also find him very fake. He used to talk bad about her, but now he’s talking about you behind your back, he says he didn’t want to get back with her, then he did… honestly this kid has way too much baggage and drama I wouldn’t even bother sticking around to deal with that. You’ve only been dating him for like what? A month? Get out while it’s still early.
