[no pun intended] I just saw New Moon, and I loved it. though it was a major cliffhanger I thought Chris Weitz did a much better job than Catherine Hardwicke did. as you all know New Moon ended with a mind-blowing "Marry Me, Bella" from Edward. and now everyone’s new focus is Eclipse.

I couldn’t help but feel rather anxious for Eclipse because I am very well informed that Eclipse will be brought to life by "30 Days of Night" director David Slade. and I have done enough research that Slade wants Eclipse to be more darker and gorier. WTH?! I am not questioning his ability in making movies more interesting..but I’m wondering, how much darker will Eclipse become?

I fear that maybe Eclipse will be turned into another gruesome, bloody horror movie and NO romance shall be included at all. No proposal from Edward, no tent scene, no meadow..NADA.
So I’m asking for assurance from the fellow Twilight fans who might have some info behind Slade’s intentions for Eclipse. Will or will not Eclipse be turned into a sequel for 30 days of night?

I mean no insult to David Slade or to anyone else out there.

Well… I’m not the biggest Twilight fan around, but have seen the movie a couple of times – and am a big fan of 30 Days of Night… and I’m very certain that they won’t make Eclipse into another 30 Days of Night…
I think they chose David Slade, because he will be able to give some more dark and sinister moments to the movie (to give it an appeal to a broader audience), but on the other hand I think he will make the movie very close to the original idea of the Twilight saga
