Should I choose Family or Fun…?
I’m at a crossroad… Tomorrow I have 2 choices, both of which are great but I can only choose one…
Choice 1 is tomorrow I go on a road trip to Moncton, (for those who don’t know, it’s a city), to meet a beloved uncle that I only get to see once every couple of years. He is flying in from Victoria, BC and will be staying for a week in my town, so I will get to see him anyways, but we’re meeting him there. If I go I will have to stay the night and I will not be doing anything fun like going to the movies or shopping. If I go, this will mean that I will spend all Saturday and Sunday driving which will leave me NO weekend left to do anything creative before another week of school…
Choice 2 is that I don’t go and stay home. Saturday is a rare occasion that none of my friends work and we will be able to get together, (last time this happened was in August). It is sure to be a great day and I get Sunday to do anything I want, possibly even get together with the friends that aren’t working then. There’s is even a possibility of a movie!
Both these are appealing to me but I cannot decide which to choose, so I am asking YOU. Just pick the one that you would pick if you were in my situation and give a decent reason why… Thanks, any help is appreciated…

There is always next Saturday. And you described your uncle as your beloved uncle so you must think he is cool. The better choice is to go with your uncle. But go to have a good time and be optimistic.
