Any good book reccomendations?
Hi, I’m 14 and wanna read some good books.
I’m already reading:
Private Novels by Kate Brian
Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard
(Those are book series so they’re ongoing)
My favorite books that I’ve read:
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks
My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult
I plan on reading:
Dear John by Sparks
The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
The Notebook – by Sparks
The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffeneger
Heat Wave by Richard Castle
Anything other books similar to these? I like romance, crime, high-school type stories. Anthing in those categories.
I REFUSE to read The Clique Series
The Gossip Girl books don’t interest me (even though I love the show. Same goes for the It Girl Books).
I’ve already read the Twilight books a couple years ago, so I’m way over those.
Nothing that has to do with a rendition of vampires & werewolves.
xoxo,
Vee.

The Lovely Bones is a good one, I just finished it. I’m really into Stephen King stuff, so if you like him, I’d recommend Duma Key.

How about The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins? The first 2 books are great and the third one is coming out this year.

The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is really good. In fact i just bought the series in hardcover and it arived today, they take me about a day to read one (8 hours really) but are very interesting. Its about this dad (Rick Riordan) who tells his son about the greek gods, his son has ADHD and Dyslexia. Then Rick made a story about a boy just like him. ADHD makes him feel like time flys by very slowly which helps him in battle for evading attacks. In the first book he finds out hes a demigod (half god, half human) and Zeus (lord of the sky) has blamed him for stealing his lightning bolt and if it is not returned by the Summer Solstice there will be a war between the gods. GREAT SERIES!!!
Hope that helps, Gavin
