Is this turkey safe to eat?

To eat it, or not to eat it, that is the question!

My roommate bought a 12lb frozen turkey and has it in an ice chest with a bag of ice since Monday outside on the back porch. There was no room in the fridge. He injected it last evening and it was still mostly frozen, except around the very surface of the turkey. It’s still in it’s bag.
There was no cold water put in the ice chest as I’ve seen people suggest. The outside temperatures have been ranging in the 50-60’s.

He is a very good cook, but over time we’ve discovered we have a very different idea of what is safe to eat and what is not, also how to clean up after preparing meats, etc. He eats food that has been in the fridge for…eons, and doesn’t get sick. I have had food poisoning twice in my life, and am very careful about guidelines.

I don’t want to hurt his feelings and not eat his prepared food, or have a big discussion about it, and when it’s fried I might be sooooo tempted to eat it! I really would love to indulge in some fried turkey. My son will be coming as well, so not sure if I should ‘warn’ him or not.

Any idea of what the temp in the ice chest would fluctuate to and from? Last night the bag of ice was still about half full of ice.

I dont know if it is safe but i know there is this thing that make u sleepy and gives u all lot of energy the next day.

Why does the NBC station in Detroit not air the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade?

I know Detroit airs it from 1:36 the next morning to 4:36 and instead it airs the local parade. However, couldn’t they get a bigger audience with nationally known artists and names rather than local? Also what if someone likes a star that will be in the parade? What if a if a local band is in the parade? Aren’t they especially getting ripped off?
(Note: I’m not saying that I hate this city, I just want to know if someone knows why! I do not live in Michigan or the Detroit area)

That’s really odd, I assumed it was a national thing. I mean to say, I would have figured that for things like that, there would be some sort of national schedule for NBC to follow.
