How do Americans feel when they watch the movie…?
Rambo III in 2008 and think about the actual political situation?

I saw this awful movie when it came out and watched it again today. The distribution of "good guy" and "bad guy" is so odd from "today’s point of view" and I would really like to know what American people think about this change of concept of enemy?

Most think it just a movie I remember a movie came out about our war of Independence with England They burned down a church with all the Yanks inside The expat Brits I lived with really got upset about it I told them to calm down they did not show that y’all killed the kids 1st as there were none in the church

Hollywood produces plenty of trash movies. Most of them based on a concept of good guy and bad guy and of course happy ending when good always defeats evil. Many Americans love to live in a fairy tale world. In American movies even dinosaurs only eat bad guys, they never eat good guys.

We know it’s fiction. No political ramifications, just the old, very old good versus evil story line.

When a story is about WW II in Europe, the bad guys are Germans, if the story is set in the Pacific, the bad guys are Japanese.

And contrary to popular belief, we know the current world situation. And we know when we watch fictional portrayals of past or current events, they are fiction, not fact.
