What are the best international movies, specifically on modern history?
I am a fan of all things international: culture, society, history and so on. I love learning about new things from movies also. I was wondering what people’s top choices are for best internationally themed movies on modern history and society.
NOTE: While "Amelie" is a great movie, I would NOT AT ALL include it on this list. I am thinking more along the lines of "Blood Diamond, "Hotel Rwanda," "Last King of Scotland," or "Ghandi."
