How can I rebuild a 3 year relationship, starting over as friends to make it stronger?
I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years, we live in the same house. I moved states to be with him. About a year ago he sat me down to talk about "something missing in our relationship" saying he didn’t know what was wrong but he had to be the one to figure out what it was. Here it is almost a year later, I thought he had figured it out but he didn’t say anything more on the subject the entire year he was working on figuring us out. Last night he said he came up with two solutions, one being taking a break, the best one he said rebuilding our relationship beginning as friends but working on ourselves and making our relationship stronger than what it was to begin with. He said he would be committed to working on us, if I was, but I am hurting so much that I don’t even know where to start. He did clarify he wasn’t leaving me but he felt something went away in our friendship together to cause this missing piece and that we each try to find it separately. I was engaged to this person from March 2008-August 2008 but had to return home to be with my mom who I found out might have had Ovarian Cancer. He took this as a sign of leaving him because I left a lot of things including my jewelry, even though I never told him I was leaving him and that I promised I would come back, I just had to be there for my mom. Ever since I left he said, it’s left him with an empty void and the missing feeling…Did I do something wrong? My heart is hurting but I am trying to not let it hurt me too much to where I just give up before I even begin. He is now sleeping on the couch and making me take our bed out of courtesy, but it is hard to breathe yet alone sleep. PLEASE help me as far as direction goes, thank you so much!!

Ghost Busters (1984)

Plot: Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, and Egon Spengler are three scientists at Columbia University in New York City. When their grant expires, the guys are fired and they go into business as a ghost extermination company called “Ghostbusters”. Their first customer is orchestra cello player Dana Barrett, who was scared out of her apartment on the 22nd floor of a high rise apartment building on Central Park West. It seems that Dana’s neighbor, Louis Tully, is also being affected by the strange happenings in the apartment building. Armed with proton guns, the Ghostbusters become wildly popular, and they are joined by Winston Zeddmore, who is looking for a job with good pay. Overzealous Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) agent Walter Peck thinks the Ghostbusters are frauds, and he has the Ghostbusters put in jail. Peck is forced to believe the Ghostbusters when New York City is put under siege by an ancient Sumerian God named Gozer the Gozerian, who is channeled through the apartment building that Dana and Louis live in, and the mayor has no choice but to let the Ghostbusters out of jail to face Gozer.

What is the name of this movie?
I watched it a while ago and never caught the title. It starts out with a man acting like a "ghost buster" if you will, coming into a person house to get rid of a ghost. he is more of a scam artist because he is having his to buddies who are ghosts. one is a African American hippie from the seventies. Anyway the main idea is he has to stop this "Grim Reaper" from killing people. there is a number on or around the people the Grim Reaper is going to kill, which the main character can see. This Reaper is a killer from the town that was executed for his crimes and his girlfriend has his ashes which his evil ghost come from. Also another funny part is the main character can’t go into a cemetery without being attacked by army ghost and etc. until the end when he is trying to defeat the reaper. i’m sorry this seems very spread out and vague, but its just some of the parts i remember

When does season 2 of Sonny With A Chance premier on disney channel?
I really want to see the new episode and on new years eve it advertised it but it still hasn’t come on. My friends and I thought it was going to come out January 10 but that was wrong and now we think it will come on february 14 but thats wrong too because that is when Star Struck comes out (which I’m really excited for). Does anybody know? because i’m dying to know!!

Women owning property in Jane Austen books – Emma vs. Pride & Prejudice.?
No, this is not a homework question – I’m just curious.
In Pride & Prejudice, the daughters all had to get married off to avoid becoming paupers since women could not inherit property. But in Emma, she was not concerned about getting married and said that even if she did not get married, at least she would be a wealthy spinster.
Why the discrepancy? Didn’t they take place about the same time so the same laws would apply? Could Emma inherit her father’s estate?
Actually, there is no true discrepancy. The circumstances were different for the Bennet girls than they were for Emma. It is incorrect that women could never inherit. It was the entailment which kept the Bennet girls from inheriting the estate. There was wealth for Emma to inherit, there was no wealth for the Bennet girls to inherit.
In Pride and Prejudice, the family estate was entailed, meaning it would be inherited by the closest male relative when Mr. Bennet died. Therefore, the Bennet girls would not inherit the estate. However, if you recall, Anne de Bourgh was the one who was going to inherit the estate when Lady Catherine passed away. You see, there was no entail on Mr. Darcy’s uncle’s estate in Pride and Prejudice. In the same book, you see Caroline Bingley and her sister, both of whom inherited a large sum of money from their father – as did Georgiana Darcy from her father.
As I said, it was not that a woman never could inherit, it was merely that the Bennet girls had nothing to inherit. Mr. Bennet’s estate was entailed, so the girls would not benefit from it, and there was only a small amount of money available to be settled on each from the money their mother had inherited (the amount settled on their mother when she married/her dowry).
As far as Emma was concerned, the real point was she was an heiress with 30,000 pounds. The Bennet girls, like the Dashwoods in Sense and Sensibility, did not have the expectation of a large amount of money. With very little money to inherit and with the estate entailed away from the women in the family, the Bennets had to marry well in order to live in the relative luxury to which they were accustomed. Had the previous generation, probably Mr. Bennet’s father, not entailed the estate, the girls could have inherited it and remained in their present circumstances after Mr. Bennet’s death.
Both books are set in the same era. There was no mention of an entail on the Woodhouse estate. If it wasn’t entailed, Emma could, in fact, inherit it.
Note: Entailing the property, you see, was a choice. There was no law saying the property had to be entailed in order to keep the property in male hands, only. I’m no expert on entailment, but from what I’ve read, once the property was entailed, the next male to inherit was left with no choice about whom to leave the property. The entailment meant the closest male relative inherited from the one who began the entail and had to pass the property on to the next closest male heir. As far as I can figure out, the second generation male inheritor could break the entail. Mr. Bennet, however, could not. Does this explain it for you? Since I did a quantity of rambling, I’ll pare it down:
1. A woman could inherit an estate, provided it was not entailed.
2. A woman could NOT inherit an estate, if it had been entailed. In this case, only a male relative could inherit. Such was the case with the Bennets.
3. A woman could be an heiress, provided her parents were wealthy and had the money to settle on (or provide for) her. Such was the case with Emma. Unfortunately for the Bennets, this was not the case for them.

When Sulla conquers Rome with his troops, Caesar is one of the very few to stand up against the despotic dictator. This impresses Pompeius, Sulla’s general, and he protects the young man, who is a nephew of Marius, a well known veteran, against the wrath of Sulla. After Sulla’s death, Caesar returns from exile and starts his political career. Caesar’s daughter Julia marries general and senator Pompeius, and Caesar takes Pompeius’ troops in order to simply safeguard the borders to Gaul, but instead conquers the whole country. His final victory takes place at the fortress of Alesia, where the Germanic troops under Vercingetorix capitulate. Back in Rome, Ceasar is not trusted anymore, since the troops are loyal to him alone and it is feared by Pompeius and Cato that he will use the troops to conquer Rome and declare himself King, including the establishing of a inheritbale right to the throne. Instead, Caesar does none of that and sets off to Egypt in order to ensure a constant delivery of agricultural goods to the Roman Empire. After a glorious return to Rome, his former friends Pompeius and Cato are dead, their deaths blamed on Caesar, and his personal life is in ruins since he could not resist the temptation of beautiful Egyptian empress Cleopatra. Being inveigled and aided by a group of rebellious and untrusting senators around Cassius, his nephew Brutus finally kills Julius Caesar at March 15, 44. B.C. (the Ides of March) at the age of 55, starting an era of civil wars.
