^^^^LOL. Yeah, you’re better off crushing on the goons and thugs in basketball and football. How ’bout some good old fashioned ‘roid rage? Baseball’s your sport for that.

Technically, that made sense in reference to the question… But for the sheer ridiculousness of it, there’s a fine line between "technically" and "barely".

Sammy, you’re free to share your opinion… but my own opinion is that you’re a joke. We get it, okay? You don’t understand all the intricate physics, the competition, and the beauty in the sport. You’re speaking to a majority that does. Your condescension and confusing, contradicting sense of superiority and morality would do more harm to a person than the sport of hockey.

Go find a choir to preach to. Or a hobby.

You know, besides force-feeding and brainwash. We like our hockey here, but we don’t go to other sections or even waste our every answer here on trying to sway people our way.

NOTE: Angela B, I wasn’t meaning any of my answer towards you. That Sammy person is just always being melodramatic here.

How can I stop illegal animal trading?
What kind of work can I get into if I want to stop people from illegally trading animals? I am 18 and I have always wanted to help animals in what I do for a living.. And I was wondering what I should study in college or where I can even go to start. It seems to be something of a cop job, should I first look into police academy, or what?

The only way to stop illegal animal trading is to come up with a law that enables harsher punishment so that more people will think twice before doing animal trade illegally. A job that helps with animal is Animal Cruelty Investigator, Humane Society Police Officer, Animal Control Worker, or Animal Cop. If you want to learn how to get into one of these jobs go to www.ehow.com
and type in the search bar "how to become an animal cop?"

Here is how to save animals.

Step 1) Report any instances of animal cruelty or neglect that you may witness. Neglect includes dogs that are constantly chained up or left alone in a yard or cats that are pretty much left to fend for themselves.

Step 2) Report stray or injured animals to your local animal shelter. If possible, pick up the animal yourself and call around to see if a rescue or no-kill shelter might have room before turning the pet in to a city shelter. There are alternatives to city shelters including boarding facilities that will charge lower rates for rescued pets until homes are found for them and people who foster pets. See article on stray animal rescue (bottom link in Resources below).

Step 3) Adopt pets from shelters and rescues before buying from a breeder, and never purchase a dog or cat from a pet store. There are two great websites for finding your dream pet: Petfinder.com and Adopt a Pet.com. Both list thousands of dogs, cats, rabbits and more up for adoption throughout North America. Just put in your zip code and what type of pet you’re looking for-it’s that easy.

Step 4) Spay or neuter your pet. This is first and foremost for controlling pet overpopulation.

Step 5) Avoid purchasing products that were tested on animals and don’t donate to organizations that do unnecessary animal testing (see Resources below).

Step 6) Don’t support the fur industry, reduce the amount of leather you use and refuse to buy products made from real ivory.

Step 7) Don’t engage in or support hunting for sport.

Step Don’t attend circuses or rodeos that abuse their animals. Attend circuses that don’t use live animals at all.

Step 9) Limit or eliminate your consumption of meat, and when purchasing meat opt for free range and organic. Don’t eat veal or foie gras; both are obtained by cruel methods.

Step 10) Purchase cage-free eggs and organic dairy products, and if you’ve done your research and are ready to make the commitment, switch to a vegan diet, which is good for your health, animals and the environment.

Step 11) Donate food, supplies, money and your time and support to local shelters/rescues and national or world animal protection organizations; encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same (see Resources below).

Step 12) Write letters to the editor of your local newspaper about pet overpopulation and unwanted, abused and neglected animals. Bring their attention to local pet stores that sell dogs (the overwhelming majority are from puppy mills).

Step 13) Contact your elected representatives and urge them to sponsor stronger laws to protect animals from cruelty (including those on factory farms and those that are hunted) and to increase punishment for animal abusers.

Step 14) Share your love for animals and how to properly care for them with children and enlighten adults about abusive practices that we are generally kept in the dark about, so that one day it will be a kinder world for animals.

Step 15) Help animals by clicking daily on websites such as The Animal Rescue Site, Care 2’s Race for Pets in Need, Care 2’s Race to Save Baby Seals, Free Kibble and Free KibbleKat. It’s absolutely free! You can also search the Web and help rescue pets at the same time by using Dogpile (see Resources below).
I’m thirteen and love to write fantasy, romances, and horror stories, but being someone who wants to be an author, I wanted to try stepping out of my comfort zone by writing a short story that is nothing like any of my other stories. Any good?

I held my breath as my window creaked. I felt relieved, yet depressed, when I heard the steady sobs from my mother continuing in the next room. I cracked my window open farther and stuck my toe out to feel around for the large branch that poked out right beneath my window. When I felt it, I carefully climbed out onto it and took a deep breath. I leapt from the branch and landed on the soft earth below. Then, I started walking.

I lived out of town so for the most part; all I saw was trees, grass, and the occasional owl. I ignored them, however, and kept walking. I did not have a specific destination; I just wanted air. I didn’t

tbh i liked ronnie WAAAAY more.
the new etf album is very soft compared to the other albums and theres hardly any screaming.
and craigs voice sounded better in blessthefall than it does in escape the fate. in etf his voice if too soft and mellow-ish? idk i feel its like that.
rainbow poops | Mar 16, 2010

I like them both, but so far i still like ronnie a little better. Also, craig’s really good live. I saw them a couple of weeks ago at soundwave. They were amazing!!!

Am I missing the obvious?
The other day I posted a question like this. Told a guy (year older) that I fancied him, he walked away without a word. Next week I tried to talk to him, (so I could explain it wasn’t a joke and I wasn’t set up) and he refused to hear me out. He’s not like other guys btw. And he kept on walking away (and he walks past) and I couldn’t keep chasing after him. Hell, I tried being polite. But he just wouldn’t listen. Am I missing something obvious?

My friend doesn’t think very highly of him at all and she calls him swears.
I know he’s not interested but why didn’t he hear me out?
when i asked if i could talk, he said,
‘I don’t think so,’ or something like that.

The obvious is he doesnt want to know you.
Seto Kaiba | Feb 08, 2010

Perhaps he doesn’t fancy you and is too shy to say.
jewelking_2000 | Feb 08, 2010

Ditto to the girl above. He’s not interested and too spineless to tell you to your face
myayro | Feb 08, 2010

I guess he’s not interested and embarrassed as he now doesn’t know how to act around you. Just ignore him or just say "hi". Don’t keep chasing after him.
lbaker2656 | Feb 08, 2010

Hes an in sensitive jerk and you can do much better.
Pam | Feb 08, 2010

he obv doesnt know he loves you yet….. xxx
Hannah | Feb 08, 2010

there could be two reasons as to why he’s refusing to hear you out he’s either far to shy or he is not interested but atleast you tryed prehaps you should move on
