What Christian denomination am I?
I am trying to find a church for my family and I to go to, but I want to make sure it closely matches my beliefs so I do not confuse my children. I am unsure if Christ is the son of God, or God himself, as all of research gives evidence of both, so that will not be a factor. I do not believe there are people sitting in hell. I believe that just as the hebrew word Sheol is defined, it is a grave, and just as Lazarus was, it is sleeping without dreaming. I believe it is through Christ’s sacrifice we are all saved, and that we should look to his examples of how to live our lives. I don not believe in speaking in tongues!! I also believe many of the mosaic laws, such as eating clean animals, were given as instruction because it was unsafe at the time to do otherwise. I believe we should love everyone and leave the judgments to God. I do not believe in worshiping saints, the book of Mormon, and am not a Jehovah’s Witness, although I agree with many of their teachings.I do believe we must be repentant and use prayer as a way to connect with God. I am looking for a church as close to this as possible, and please do not tell me to go to a Unitarian Universalist church, because I believe that will be too confusing. I want a church group who is strong in their faith for God. I live in San Antonio area if that helps.
I do want to emphasis that i do not believe there is currently a hell. The word that has been translated to hell in English means the grave in both the Old and New Testement, the only translation that can mean hell is the Greek Gehena, found in relvaltion. And I do believe that Jesus is Christ.
I appreciate all of your answers and knowledge, however I am not looking for an explanation on what to believe, but a specific place to worship that coincides with my personal beliefs.
Jesus is God, and the Son of God. The Trinity is true
Here is a teaching on the Trinity: http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Believer’ s%20Corner/Doctrines/wonderful_trinity.h tm
Find a simple Bible church or Baptist church that teaches the Bible
Jesus loves you so very much!
The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell, is by believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died on the cross for all our sins as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe in Jesus alone for salvation, and you will be in heaven, no matter what!
Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus alone to save you! It is impossible to lose or "leave" salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13).
Please pray now: "Jesus, please forgive me of my sins. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and You rose from the dead. Thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die!

You are on the right track when you say of Jesus, "that we should look to his examples of how to live our lives."
And you also mentioned that you feel we should "use prayer as a way to connect with God."
Putting these two thoughts of yours together I would ask you to think about this.
Of course you are aware Jesus was a Jew. And Jesus had a God. For instance, he said to Mary Magdalene:
