Should a medical provider charge a copay when payment from primary insurance exceeds secondary allowable?
I have a question about charging copays when there is a primary and secondary insurance. The question above assumes that both the primary and secondary insurance require copays if they are each the sole insurance payer. This question is about whether a copay is required when there is a coordination of benefits between a primary and secondary insurance.
