Do guns really break down/apart as easily as they do in the movies?
In movies like The Bourne Identity, Jason Bourne removes the slide from a semi automatic gun with one motion. In The Dark Knight, Bruce Wayne dismantles a shotgun in seconds into it’s major pieces. Is this really how guns are built? Some guns? Very specific guns? Or are these simply movie magic guns that have been rigged to do this very specific action because it looks cool?
I was taught to break down and put back together an M16 in boot camp in just seconds. I can feild strip my 9mm in under 15 seconds so if you know what you are doing you can feild strip a gun rather quickly.

i think that some are built to be broken down, BUT i dont believe it can be done as fast or as easy as it is in the movies.
I know that they can be broken down to clean and for part replacement.
