computer laptops and processors?
OMG modern technology…
I have a desktop dell and I think it has the core 2 duo processor or something like that, anyhow its very FAST and I love it, now I am looking to get a CHEAP laptop but one that has speed like my desktop…
mainly i want to use it when its not convenient to use my desktop, mostly for things like ebay surfing and playing farmville and other games on facebook…
with black friday on the horizon walmart has an emachines AMD Athlon 64 on sale and Dell has the inspiron 15 on sale as well as a dozen other places and brands…
I dont really wanna spend more than 300 bucks because I spent a lot on my desktop and it will be my main soure of computing, but I want a laptop for sitting in the recliner relaxing or taking in the car on trips to play dvds….so if you were me…what would you get? And please go easy on me Im old and dont understand alot of todays technological jargon when it comes to computer lingo….lol
eMachines computers are absolute garbage. I wouldn’t even use one to hold up the short leg on a couch, they’re that crappy. The Dell should be descent. If you want a laptop to perform as well as your desktop, make sure the laptop has a Core 2 Duo processor.

It’s very unlikely you will find a laptop anywhere near as fast as your desktop for $300, but if you’re just looking to surf the web, watch movies, etc you should be fine. Personally I’d go with the Dell over the eMachines. Better brand
Getting a Core 2 laptop would run you at the least $500 and most likely higher, 600 or more
