Why have I lost the ability to view public profiles on Facebook?

I was able to view the profiles before today, but they now appear as private. I’ve checked with some friends and they don’t have a problem viewing the profiles.
The profiles are in the same network as me.

Please help it’s very annoying!

Have you had a birthday recently? One of the possibility is that you are trying to view under 18’s profiles when you are over 18. Other Possibility are you have been blocked, or that Facebook have changed there system YET AGAIN and that the change hasn’t affected your friends yet.

Curiosity beckons however, why would you not just add said profiles as friends?
